Drilled a pilot hole with a 1/16 th drill bit and tapped off screw head.

Oven was missing the broiler element when I moved in so the connector/wires to plug the broiler were no longer visable in the main part of the oven (otherwise the repair would take 2 minutes). Moved oven away from wall and unplugged. Unscrewed sheet metal on the back of oven and found the broiler wires (the only two NOT connected to somet ... Read more hing). Fed the wires back into the oven and plugged in the broiler. Attached the broilers to the top hooks. Put sheet metal back on. Everything worked fine. I wouldn't say I know much about fixing things, but this was a very straight-forward job.

Lift burners out of plug discard old drip pans replace new drip pans into plugs and done .

removed the plug that had burned up on one of the top burners, replaced it with a new plug purchased from parts select., it was quite easy ,I unpluged stove and raise the top exposing wiring for the burners cut the old plug wiring and connected the wires for the new plug with connectors and shrink tubing supplied in the repair kit easy a ... Took the old ones out and put in the new ones! What I am so pleased about it that I just went online and at Parts Select website it was easy to find what I needed, a fair price and the 4 bowls arrived within 2 days!

Removed old drip bowls, removed burners installed new drip bowls,installed burners. They fit perfect and I received them two days after ordering.

Unplugged the stove, unscrewed the two screws, unplugged the element....plugged in the new element, screwed to top of stove, plugged stove back in and tested. Pizza was great!

I followed the instructions provided.

I raised the top of my Whirlpool Continuous Cleaning Canning Oven, then had to unscrew 3 screws and a lock nut, then raise top about 4 inches, so I could put my hand inside to unplug the wires to the switch, and push it through the hole in front, of oven. Replaced drip pan. Notch did not want to match the burner notch. Was a close fit bit with a little pressure made it work.

I ordered the part and it was at my door in 2 days. I ordered the part on Wednesday thinking I would install it on the weekend after next. The part showed up on Friday. That was amazing considering I didn't sellect expeidited delivery. I didn't have a manual and have never tried this before so grade my attempt on a curve please. I started ... Read more by unscrewing the screws closest to the hinge but quickly migrated to the entire face of the range. Pulled the range out and started unscrewing the screws on the side, and then the back. Figuring nothing was coming off and I still couldn't get to the hinge I stopped and regrouped. That's when my wife asked if she could help. I guess I looked distressed. By this time I had removed the drawer and had the range on it's back in the middle of the kitchen with little bowls of screws everywhere. My wife picked up the new hinge and looked it over. Then she started playing with the old hinge which was loose, but I couldn't get it out. She realized that you can remove the old hinge and install the new hinge without taking the whole thing apart. Where was she 30 minutes ago? The hinges came out and the new ones went it in about 10 minutes. It took me another 20 minutes to put back all of the screws I had taken off unnecessarily. Sometimes use your brains instead of a screwdriver. I have the best wife ever!

I took out the coils manually by pulling them out with slight pressure. Then I lift the hood by first unscrewing the four screws. I have never done anything like this before just intuitive sense to locate the screws that needed to be loosened. The parts I got are exactly the same as those I am replacing so I just copied the connection and voila my electric range is working like new. Well of course before I touched anything, I made sure I turned off the main switch and that nobody switches it back on without my knowledge. Thanks for providing the parts, I just saved myself from buying a $600 electric range.

I took the old wires and plug off and replaced it with the new block it works fine
