Purchased 2 piece broiler pan from this site

I didn't. Don't know how to get to light bulb to change it for this specific model

I took the new knob out of the plastic bag and placed it on the oven. The whole process took les than one minute and no tools were needed.

Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.

at first I couldn't get the knob on but after placing a little Vaseline on it, it went right on.

Well, when you put the back cover on and screw it down make sure you have nothing touching the white wire leading to the oven light. I did and it blew the push switch when I threw the 220 breaker. Actually, the light was on when I came in the room, but when I pushed the switch on the front panel it sparked in the rear and popped the break ... Read more er. I googled Kitchenaid along with the model number and Parts Select came up. I then entered the model number along with what I wanted, and scrolled through different pictures until I found a sketch of my cooktop with individual numbers for each part. The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new ligh ... Replacement of knob

1. Unscrewed glass cover on bulb
2. Removed old bulb
3. Screwed in new bulb
4. Replaced glass cover
5. Mixed drink & baked cupcakes

My husband took the plastic cover off and took out old bulb and screwed in the new one. Then put the cover back on.

Screwed in light bulb and glass protector

I pulled down the wire around the glass cover. . . Released on end of the wire from its holder being careful to not let the glass cover drop. Unscrewed the bulb and replaced with replacement. Easy, easy.
