AMV52 - Instructions

Unscrewing the old one out, putting the new one in.

Ordered part and screwed in. Part could not be found in hardware store even though it was just a long set of screws. Agent quickly identified part with model number of microwave and it was at my home the next morning for installation. Great service!

After contacting parts select they assisted me in ordering the correct replacement part. The folks I talked to on the phone WERE EXCELLENT in working with me to fix the issue. Very easy. Opened the Microwave door, removed the dish and replaced the coupler.

Lifted up the glass plate and stuck the assembly under it ;)

Just placed it in. Ordered, received in less than a week and it was working in minutes after being broken for 6 months Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All the electrics worked on Amana microwave EXCEPT for the cooking function. Inspected the control board and found the upper switch on the door interlock was burnt. To replace the light bulb was fast and easy. All I had to do was unscrew one screw and place the bulb in! Quick and easy, and simple!

Snapped the coupler in place. Took one minute.

Asked at Best Buy what our options were after I described the problem. They said to buy a new Microwave. I thought No way it is only a few years old. Whent home did som research and found your site and for under $5.00 My microwave turn table turns again!

Took the broken coupling out and put the new coupling in

Try to turn Coupler. If it is loose it is broken 1. pull old one out 2. line up keyway on new one and press it in. (If mild resistance was felt while turning coupler it is not coupler most likely drive motor)

Removed old coupler with my fingers and installed new one on shaft. Works fine.
