The light bulb in your microwave allows you to see inside the main compartment, and should come on automatically when you open the door. If your light bulb is not performing this function, you may need to replace the bulb. This light bulb is 3 inches long, is made of metal and glass, and is 40W. Then simply unscrew the old bulb and replace it with the new one. Be sure to disconnect power to the microwave before you begin this repair. Also, if the old bulb was broken, be sure to remove any pieces of glass in the microwave before you use it again.

This motor rotates the glass turntable in the microwave.
