Screw drivers
I had no problem installing the new filter. Just used a phillips screw driver to remove the two screws holding the vent cover in place. Cleaned the dust out of the ducts and reinstalled the new filter. The screws must be held to the screw driver with your finger tips so you don't drop them in the vent cover. y and now my turn table in my microwave works. I have marked this site a a favorite and will use it I'm sure soon. Being a single women and having to figure out how to fix the things on a small buget, I'm learning a lot and have a lot of respect for men that know how to do all the repair stuff. Thanks so much, I have been able to mark this off my list of things to fix. Have a nice day. Cj- age, 58

Screw drivers
The filter was just a maintenance issue. The vent grille, as described on the website already, is poorly constructed; the plastic where the screws attach to hold it on break easily. I ended up using something similar to the plastic of a credit card to make a repair to the side that had broken. I ended up not installing the new grille, I t

hought I would see how the repair I made held up first. I kept the grille as a spare when the old one finally breaks. CAUTION: When you clean the grille, take it off first! The two spots where it attaches are cheaply made and will break easily. Take out the two screws, clean the grille, and then put it back into place. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS! Tighten them just enough to hold it in place.

The lady in the Nova Scotia call center should get all the credit for being able to identify the part I needed from only the very limited information I was able to give her. Employee of the month for her. She also had such a great can do attitude. Lawence Baier
