removed a dozen screws-discarded large cap-replaced diode-replaced a dozen screws(took longer to replace them than remove for some unknown reason). Microwave now works(wife happy).

I used my pocket knife to open the package. I opened the door and removed the plate and set the guide down and put the glass plate back.

I ordered a replacement piece. Fits perfectly and rotates as it should. It arrived earlier than planned.

Replaced the the thermostat located above the magnetron.

My repair went terrible as I was sent the wrong motor 2 times. My stove sat in the middle of my small kitchen for 2 weeks. Finally the 3rd was the correct one except I didn't have the right nut so I waited another day for that to be sent. Everything working good now, I just hope the bottom fan doesn't go out after this experience.

hardest part was taking the microwave down off of the wall to gain access to the diode. Thought if was the transformer but ended up being just a blown diode. remove and replace and bench test. that part took 15 minutes . moral of the story don't boil water under the side of the microwave that holds the electric components.

went to you tube and found a segment compatible to my issue.called the web site and ordered the thermostat fuse and ceramic fuse in case i had the wrong one purchased at the locale H/Depot. The only issue was I did not know that there was 2 different thermo fuses,,one controls fan and the other a basic one. luckily the fan wasn't the one ... My daughter was trying to run the microwave timer and ended up nuking the cooking tray, which shattered. First web place I found wanted 55$ for this tray and this site sold it for 19.99. It shipped super quickly. I am very pleased with this company!

Disconnected power and removed Microwave housing cover, observed burned end plastic connector of wire connecting to the thermostat (or thermal overload sensor); slightly wiggle one of the 2 wires to the thermostat would cause microwave power to cut out (when plugged in power). Removed the 2 wires from the old thermostat, removed the 2 screws that fasten down the thermostat, replaced with new thermostat and reapplied the 2 screws; cut off burned part of wire and resolder to new wire connector; reconnect both wires to new thermostat and reinstall MW housing cover.
