Took cabinet off. Loosened rear condenser and moved it out of the way. Took fan blade off of motor shaft and replaced. Actually broke off small part of blade hub tapping it on to the shaft with a hammer - use a block of wood to protect!

I removed the left and right curtain assemblies on my air conditioner with an electric screw driver. It very easy to install and now I don't have to worry about when it rains if water will seep through. I am so glad I found them online. All you have to do is place the call, order and wait for you items to be delivered. I will definite ly be looking to see what other items I may need from them. I have saved their site under my favorites and passed their information onto my friends. Thank you PartSelect Co.

very tight working situations. made a mistake with a delicate piece of the fan and broke it and that rendered the part unuseful. Since I broke it I considered it to be my fault and just threw it away. Ordered another from another company hoping that just maybe it would be more durable. It arrived in only 4 days. Yours took well over a week to arrive. Thanks for asking for my experience.

Broken fan blade
  • Dennis from VALLEY SPRINGS, SD
  • Easy
  • 15 - 30 mins
  • Pliers, Screw drivers
Removed 10 screws holding fan schroud, top brace, and condenser. Remove schroud from condenser and push back toward fan motor. Pull condenser gently away from fan far enough to remove spring clip from old fan with pliers. Tap on old fan blade hub lightly until it comes off. (Important) Make sure you line up flat side of motor shaft wi th flat side new fan hub. When lined up tap back on and assemble in reverse order. Took 15 mins to replace and 15 mins to clean condenser.
