Blower wheel shaft snapped

Opened up the unit and was just able to move the front condenser(?) unit just enough out of the way to reach the compression clamp that held the blower shaft to the motor shaft. Removed the old blower wheel. Slid the new one on and after several tries was able to get the compression clamp/spring back on. Put it back together and it wor ks like a champ.

on-off switch defective - stuck in on position

  • Richard from Riverwoods, IL
  • Easy
  • Less than 15 mins
  • Screw drivers
I removed the filter and then the two screws that held the outside cover of the air conditioner. I slid the cover off and pried the defective switch out of the panel. I exchanged the wires to the new switch and pushed the new switch into the panel with my fingers. I then replaced the cover and the air conditioner works fine.

It very easy to install and now I don't have to worry about when it rains if water will seep through. I am so glad I found them online. All you have to do is place the call, order and wait for you items to be delivered. I will definite ly be looking to see what other items I may need from them.
