It is secured over the grinding disk to direct dust and trimmings away from the user as well as provide protection while the unit is in operation. Never operate a grinder without a wheel guard. This part is made of durable metal and it is sold individually. Screw is not included. Part number 039028001004 is for the screw.

Genuine Ryobi replacement part, this item is sold individually. This Spanner Wrench is used to remove and tighten the 039028001001 Clamp Nut which holds the grinding wheel on the tools listed below. While pressing the spindle lock on top on the gearcase, the it is placed in two of the holes of the Clamp Nut to loosen of tighten the nut.
