This is the part that houses shaft that mower blade attaches to, it is mounted to the deck of the mower by three (3) bolts (sold separately). Please note that the mounting holes on mandrel housing are not threaded. Bolts that are used to secure the mandrel to the deck are self tapping. When doing this repair you would need a set of wrenches. • First remove the blade from the mandrel shaft • Remove the three (3) screws that are holding mandrel to the Deck • Then, you will need to remove the nut that is attached to the mandrel shaft, which is located above the mandrel pulley. The complete mandrel assembly should come right out now. • Attach the new mandrel assembly back to the deck • Attach and secure pulleys, belts and blades

This is a genuine replacement belt sourced directly from the original manufacturer, designed for use with riding lawn tractors and mowers. Made from durable rubber and sold individually, this belt is responsible for driving the mower blades, making it a critical component for cutting performance. To ensure optimal function and longevity, it’s important to clean the pulleys before installing the new belt and to inspect the belt regularly for signs of wear or stretching. Replacing the belt requires a wrench set and pliers. For safety, always disconnect the spark plug wire before beginning. Start by lowering the mower deck to its lowest position and setting the blade engagement lever to the "Off" position. Roll the old belt off the engine pulley from between the belt guide and pulley. Remove the mower deck by taking out the bow-tie pins securing the left and right lift arms, then disconnect the blade engagement cable. Next, remove the bolts from the mower deck belt pulley covers and take off the covers. Loosen, but do not remove, the nuts on the top of the idler pulleys. Install the new mower deck belt through the belt guides and around the pulleys, then tighten the idler pulley nuts. Finally, reassemble the deck to complete the repair and restore your mower’s cutting performance. Lawn mower deck belt. Width: 1/2 " Length: 95 1/2 ".

Removed old clip removed rim from tractor, removed grease fitting on rim, took hammer and screw driver knocked out old bushing turned rim over knocked out other bushing. Press in new bushings reinstalled grease fitting slide tire back on tractor, put retaining washers on then locking clip put on dust cover grease at grease fitting. Repeat other side.

Needed to replace the bent blades on my riding mower.

- Made the mower safe to work on the blades (remove spark plug wires, etc.)

- Raised the mower to get access to the blades, wedged a wood block against the blade.

- Used impact driver with socket to remove bolt holding blade.

- Removed blade, replaced with new, replaced bolt and tightened with impact drive r, ..... and you know the rest.

I returned the belt because it was the wrong part. Ordered the correct belt from another source. After that the replacement went well and I crossed off Parts Select from my list.
