AFFC2027DW1 Frigidaire Freezer - Instructions

Ordered the Capacitor and the Thermostat Control. Parts were received in a matter of a few days, easy to install, but did not fix the problem. Had to call a repairman to fix the problem (compressor relay - this part not available to order for this model number with Parts Select). Will continue to use Parts Select in the future for other p ... Read more arts, but not happy that the actual part I needed was not available - had to use other methods.

No repair. The key fit!

A little research told me the hum plus no cooling was either the compressor or the relay. I ordered the new relay and put it in but it didn't fix the problem. I ended up having to buy a new fridge, but it was worth the $30 gamble to see if I could fix it on the cheap and it saved me the money a service call would've cost. Pretty easy i ... Brought replacement key works just like original I thought it would be metal from reviews but it was plastic and still works perfectly

It's easy to know how to use a key. I didn't have a difficult part, I didn't have the model # because I had lost my key and the model # is inside. Read more e them a try. I got a very nice person (Jeremy) He went thru every model that I had and three out of the four matched so he sent me a key and if it didn't work I could get my money back. I give him a A+ four taking that extra step, unlike the other places. Very satisfied!

Oh yea thanx to partselect it went great didnt get fisrtkey but when got the second key it worked great thanx partselect

thanks to all of the people who had the same problems I was able to make a quick fix on my fridge. I pulled the back cover off and found the compressor not kicking on so I replaced the start cap. and im back in bussiness.

I replaced the defrost timer,defrost thermostat,and run cap.as it turned out the compressor went bad. I dont know the model because but the time I got this review I replaced the refer with a knew one . two weeks living out of coolers was so much fun !!!!!!!!

it was great. I ordered the capacitor for my frigidaire frig and it arrived
in 3 days. plugged in the part to the compressor and my frig has been
working ever since. I spent 3 minutes ordering the part and 30 seconds
attaching it to the frig. Easy, very easy. saved myself a 75 dollar repair

Since everything about the freezer was working, I decided it had to be the temperature control. I ordered the part from Parts Select on a Monday and it arrived on Tuesday. I removed the two screws that hold the panel that covers the parts. The control was right there. Two more screws and it was out. Reverse the operation to install the ... Read more new part and just like that in less than 5 minutes my freezer was running like new.

We really didn t need to do a repair, we just ordered a freezer key that we didn t have. I must say the shipping was fast we received it the next day. It was worth the shipping charge. We will be ordering again. Great service.

inserted key and turned

pulled out freezer, went to floor,reached in next to compressor pulled off clip just like on the video.Pulled off old capacitator took off wire leads.Installed new one. Freezer runs great.Loaded it up with beef pork and venison. No problems.

I watched the videos (they really help) and followed the steps. Everything went smooth with no surprises
