ordered wrong part, called, was sent return number, sent part back, account credited ... easy return policy ... friendly people, good job

Took the old levelling leg out and screw the new one in.

This wasn't a "repair", but I got an email asking for my story, so here it is. :-)

I followed the owner's manual instructions by pulling out the burner elements, lifting up the old drip bowls, setting in the new ones, replacing the elements.

Very easy repair. Turn the power off to the oven, take out two screws and unhook electrical connections. Replace with the new baking element and you are done. Takes only about 10 minutes and the oven works like new.

pretty damned easy. two screws holding the old one on, zero screws holding the new one on, the holes didn't match but so what it's a stovetop. it just sits there. you put pots on it.

removed screws and disconnected the wires removed element and did the replacement less than 15 minutes, and cost less than locally by 25.00 and received part the next day. EXCELLENT

After I removed the piece of metal separating the two wires, I inserted the unit with no problem.

Simply removed the old heating element and plug the new element terminals into socket.

After watching the instructional video (and flipping the breaker to my range) it was straight forward and simple. The heating element was a little bent so didn’t originally sit square/flat to the bottom of the oven so I uninstalled, bent it gently a little and reinstalled and it set down flat. It still didn’t take 15 minutes.

Bought bottom element as suggested. Instruction video seemed straight forward. Not exactly.When I unscrewed the element and gently pulled it out to access the connector, one came out an inch or two, however the left side would not slide out. Tugged a little and it released the connector which jumped back inside the oven. Had to slide the ... Read more oven out from counter, remove a rear covering plate (2 screws and no problem) and found the new element connectors protruded through the rear of the stove for connection. They were covered by the large rear plate I had removed. Screwed the plate back on and, slid the stove back into position, restored power and all was good. Stove heats properly. Happy.

just pushed new knobs on the d-shape shafts. Perfect oem fit. Just what we needed. Previously tried a set of cheap "universal" knobs that actually melted/deformed from rangetop heat reflected. Live and learn. I will say that for four 2" diameter black plastic knobs, 100 bucks seems crazy steep. But hey. we needed them and we're now back ... Read more in operation . Thanks to PartsSelect for having them available. Can't operate the stove without control knobs.

I took the back panel off, removed the old lens, installed the new lens. How easy to order from home, receive the part, do the repair and pay less than it costs to simply drive to the parts house. Cool....

This is the second use of Parts Select. First time was for another obscure part for an old microwave, which also worked out VERY well. Both appliances still in action.

just plugged it in!
