Disconnected hoses (2) from pump housing. Disconnected pump housing from motor (3 allen screws, not too acessible). The thing that takes some ... Read more time is to mop the water that comes off at almost each step. There is probably an intelligent way to drain everything first. I did not order the large seal (kind of a large rubber donut, larger than a donut) between the arm and the pump and I shoiuld have as it was difficult to keep the old one from not leaking: Since by hand you cannot tighten the large nut very hard and tools could damage or break it. Applying upward pressure on the pump while tightening did it. (The pump and motor are all mounted on flexible mounts, like the heavy hoses connecting to the pump housing, so that there are no vibration.)

I had to replace the whole sliding system on the top rack. Plus the clips holding it. It snapped. I watched the video and did the steps from Steve. The rack slides better than when brand new. Whirlpool wouldn’t pick up phone but part select did. So thank you for being there so I could fix the rack and be able to use the dishwasher again.

Remove power source, then remove old power cord.Run new power cord through existing opening ang attach to existing power box on bottom o f dishwasher. Install electrical leads and device ground. Reinstall cabinet bottom. Check out operation by running a cycle. All ok!

I manually attached the track stop to the right track in the disheasher.

I had done a door on another brand a while back and thought it would be the same, WRONG. All I needed to do was 6 screws in the lower panels. It should have not taken me longer than 30 minutes.
2 screws in the floor panel, 2 screws in the lower L shaped panel, 2 screws in the bottom of the front panel to be replaced.

Tipped over washer, removed attachment bolts, installed new pump by clamping water hoses. Be sure to use proper crimping pliers, not the generic slip joint pliers. Replacement pump included required new clamps.

I removed the three screws holding the motor on the housing. Then I took the two hoses off and from inside the washer I unscrewed the ring at the base of the wand that holds the housing in place and removed it. I then replaced the impeller and seals and reversed the process to put it back together. Cost me 26.00 for parts and shipping. I ... Read more couldnt imagine what anyone else would have charged. The dishwasher is 25 years old. Ordering the part was simple. Very good web site and user friendly. The shipment and delivery perfect. Part arrived as predicted. Tracking delivery was also perfect. Part was exactly what I needed. The only hitch was that there were no instructions for assembly, not even a drawing of the assembly to give a ... Read more hint as how to assemble. Therefiore assembly took longer than it should have. However the diswasher is back in operation and I am pleased with the results.

As described with instructions, removed original "bearing," installed replacement, removed original spring, installed replacement springs. Not difficult.

Both springs (8066018 and 3368999) were replaced as recommended in your troubleshooting guide, but did not resolve the problem. Finally the Dual Motor, 3374501, was replaced. During the above, the plastic face of the door fell off, which created a nuisance task before proceeding to fix the original problem. However, while replacing the ... Read more motor, I realized the purpose of the two, T-shaped studs sticking out of the motor. It is absolutely necessary that these sit inside the slots which engages the sliding plastic cover, which is spring loaded, in order to engage the release of the soap dispenser door. It was truly a learning experience, but I got it done.

New one snapped right into place.

took the old arm off in a minute and replace with the new on,total time about 5 minutes and it now works great
