Burner light won’t shut off. 8523265 125v

Hi Mike,
Thank you for your question. If the burner light will not turn off, one of the switches is defective and you will need to use a multimeter to check them for continuity. Before removing and testing the switches for continuity, unplug the range from the electrical outlet. Then inspect the wires near the switches for any signs of burning, or overheated wires, or terminals. If no issues are found, remove the switches in order to test them for continuity. Set the multimeter to the Rx1 setting and begin testing the switches. Start by touching the L1 and H1 terminals with the probes. Once you have completed that test, touch the probes to the L2 & H2 terminals. If your test results indicate that there is no continuity between one or both sets of terminals, you need a replacement infinite switch. We hope this helps!

($600.00 stove 2 years old)Please Note: The insulation blanket needed for the entire stove is two pieces, the sides and top are one part # and the bottom and back, are another part #. I did not know this. I just purchased the top and sides. I got lucky, the back and bottom were still in good shape. So I guess I should have read the description of the part more carefully to see what it covers, before I ordered it. It took two people two hours to do the work, it was really nice to have an extra set of eyes, to remember what direction pieces of metal from the stove went. I would do it all over in a heart beat instead of buying a new stove.
