I really didnt repair anything, but
I wanted to share with you,my experience with parts select. My order was processed lightning fast, the shipping was lightning fast, the remote was the correct one I ordered,and the whole experience was 100% perfect. Thank you so much.

Removed all screws and removed cabinet. Removed styofoam insulation, removed both fan and squirrel cage. removed 2 screws holding fan bracket in place. Removed and replaced fan motor keeping track of where color coded wires plugged into control. Cleaned unit and put back together. Worked great.

Finally my noisy a/c blower motor failed after 2 brutally hot summers of continous use plus 3 regular summers of use. I got the right part with the right color coded wires. I was a rather basic operation. I got the unit back into the wall and fired it up just as the weather started getting hot and humid again. i notice the window ac unit was making loud noise and than motor stop and the unit turn off itself then turn on , first i order the capacitor but at the end was the motor that was bad, i return the capacitor and i order new motor, now the ac window unit is working like new,,
