Removed a/c unit from window. Removed outer cover, front grill, Styrofoam ducting. Disconnected wires from control panel(noting color of wires to connections). Fan and motor housing plenum come out as 1 unit. Removed fan, squirrel wheel and condenser fan from motor shaft. Cleaned dirt and leaves from condenser. I used a plastic knife to s traighten fins. Reverse the procedure to reassemble. Works great. Saved over $600 to replace a/c unit. Time 2.5hrs.
