I received the part the very next day which was awesome, but when I went to install it, there was a connection discrepency on the back of the switch, and the screw holes were completely off in the front where it connects to the unit. Received the thermost from you in 2 days. (fast and reasonable shipping)
Removed 2 control knobs and front cover.
Removed 2 screws holding controls mounting plate. (About 3 X 6 inches in size)
Removed 2 screws holding thermostat in place.
Installed new trhermostat.
Checked the RAC and all ... Read more was OK.
As a matter of fact, I had to wait for the wife to finish cleaning the front of the RAC.
I am 75years young, retired, repaired appliances for a a short period when I was young before becoming a Factory sales rep. for RCA corp.
I appreciate your fast service and accurately sending me the actual part that I ordered.

The part was easy to remove and replace. Instructions were easy to understand. Once removed and replaced. The a/c worked great. I could control the temp and not be freezing all the time.
