Before beginning any replacement, ensure that the appliance is unplugged. Remove the old lamp from its socket and inspect the assembly to ensure it is in good condition. Insert the new lamp in the socket and make sure it is seated correctly before repositioning the panel/cover. Plug the appliance back in to verify that the new lamp is functioning.
