First, I should tell you I break more things than I fix by trying to install wrong or tightening until broken. It may seem real easy to to put end caps on but there was a suprised look on my wife's face when she watched me put them on the first time. She made me some chocolate chip cookies to celebrate. I ordered the parts and recei ... Read more ved them the next day. I shopped local and and was quoted up to five times the price nobody had them in stock.

Ordered the parts from the product discription (photo) as well as chart showing actual size. Got the parts( in two separate shipments) cut the bar to length and snapped them inot place. Bingo!

cut the retainer bar to proper lengh, put on the
end caps of both bars in question and snapped them both into place.

put both end caps on metal guard,put back on door,push down to lock into place. 30 second repair,

We just put the new end parts into the door and then placed the bar inside the caps. We had contacted our appliance dealer at least three times to get parts for us but to no avail. A friend told me about your website and the rest was history ----- and easy. Thank you.

Previously I glued them on with epoxy and Taped them. Often redoing. So I needed to clean the surface with goo gone. And to clean out the slots I used a utility knife. Read more nward until it is secure. I should have thought of parts before! When the rail broke off I had cherries in a jar on that shelf. It crashed to the floor. I had a sticky mess every where.

I snapped the brackets into the ends of the shelf bar, then inserted them into the holes in the door and pulled down each end until it snapped in place.

The repair was very easy. I had to squeeze the ends of the door shelf in a bit with pliers since the shape of the new end caps was slightly smaller than the shelf bar. You just slide off the broken part and replace it with a new part. I had to make a slight adjustment to the end of the shelf rail to allow the new piece to properly mate with the old shelf rail.

I am a 65 year old woman with no mechanical aptitude: I just unplugged the frig. And used a screw driver to pry of the plastic socket from its outside edge. . Then you just unplug two tiny contact plugs that appear when you pull out the socket and replug in those two the same way on the new part. Pop the socket back into the hole . . ... Read more . . And screw in the new bulb. I knew I needed the socket part cause when the bulb burned out , a new bulb still did not work. . . If I can do it, anyone can!

The old drain pan had a 1 ½” tall bushing attached to the center of the pan. The new pan did not have this bushing which was great. I had to cut about 1 inch off the bushing to remove the old pan. Also after cutting the bushing I had to screw the bushing off after cutting the old pan from the bushing. I installed new pan onto the ½” of ...
