ACF335 Amana Range - Instructions

Been looking for grate pads for 10 years and finally found you site and part # WPL 814323.
Wasn't sure that they would fit but couldn't even find new grates so decide to try them --Fit perfect.

I unscrewed the ignitor from the gas supply. Unplugged the ignitor. Plugged the new ignitor in and screwed it back in place to the gas supply. It could not have been easier!

This was VERY easy and I've never worked on this type of appliance before.

First, take off the grate, thermal plate, etc that are resting on top of the stove (this is all the stuff you take off to clean the stovetop).

Then, carefully unscrew the two screws holding the burner to the gas pipe. Grab the screws and set ... Read more them aside so they don't fall back into the stove, then pick the burner up off the stove.

once you have the burner a few inches above the stove surface, wiggle off the single wire by grabbing it on the metal part (not by the wire) and gently wiggling it off.

Grab new burner, push on wire and sit it on stove, use a finger in the gas pipe to align it and put the two screws in. you're done.

cleaned out pad area with an awl. then the pads just slide in.

This was very easy to install. I removed the screws that held the trim in and took it off and put the new one on and screwed it on. Within 5 minutes it was complete. I just wanted to say that my wife was very discouraged because she couldnt get the discoloration off the trim. So she went on the internet and found partsselect.com. I g ... A Home Depot employee advised me on how to enter all my oven information found on the front of my oven on parts.com. I submitted parts information as stated, also very easy. Replace the igniter. Removed 2 rear screws that secure bottom oven pan. Removed pan. Ignigter is located in center rear by 2 screws. Removed the screws and pulled ignigter out from rear. Removed the two screws that hold the element in place. Disconnected the wire to the electrode. The screw holding the electrode to the burner plate would not unscrew so I had to drill out the screw in order to replace it with the new ignition electrode. I removed all 4 burners 2 screws holding each,replaced the ignition module,wire for wire,reassembled after cleaning the stovetop.I,m my wife's hero.

Removed oven door, removed bottom of oven, removed old igniter, installed the new one and plugged it in in the back of the stove. Installed oven door and it works fine. .

I was surprised when I was able to find that the (10 year old) parts for one of the drawer slides of my stove were still available. However, I was disappointed that the small bolt that I ordered did not come with a nut. I was lucky to find one in a collection of nuts in my workshop, and so was able to fix the slide. remove grate - flip upside down - be sure holes are clean and dry - using toothpick, swab some RTV sealant into the holes and a bit on the pads ... insert pads till they seat - be sure to hold in place till all air is evacuated - wipe excess RTV with paper towel...DONE

It didn't. The grate pads (PN# PS389174) were too small for the grate (W10311216) and wouldn't work. (PN# recommended by Whirlpool parts department) The pads were smaller in diameter and shorter. I tried getting through to Whirlpool by calling to see if there was something I could reorder, but no luck, couldn't through. Am I unhappy? Oh some, but I handle it. Removed two screws and disconnected the ignition wire. Then connected ignition wire to new burner and installed two screws

Removed the lower base pan of the oven by unscrewing two phillips head screws. I then had access to the old igniter and removed that by removing the mounting screws (2 Phillips head screws).
