replaced lights in refrigirator and freezer

Lifted the door off the hinges, unhooked the spring from each hinge, unscrewed 3 Phillips head screws from the face plate of each hinge and removed the hinge assemblies . Hinges went in the way they came out; easy shmeasy. Took less than 15 minutes and the door is like new.

Took Switch panel off range. Disconnected Infinite switch. Reinstalled infinite switch.. Replaced panel. Repair was very simple and self explainatory.

Remove oven door from hinges, by pulling it straight up and off, (like you would do for closer access to clean inside). Remove the storage drawer. Lift up and away off the track, (like a file cabinet drawer). With the drawer out and away, you can see how the springs are easily detached from each hinge. Note the location of where the ... Read more springs attach to the hinges, and bottom of stove. Remove each spring. Three screws on each side hold the hinges on. Unscrew, and set them aside. (The new hinges did not have new screws in package.) Place new hinge in place. Reinstall in reverse of disassembly. If any part of the door or face of the stove (where hinges mount) was bent slightly due to forcing door open, reform with light hammer taps and C-clamps. Enjoy for ANOTHER 10+ years, because it's a GE Profile Stove : )

Called in and talked to someone and he look yup what he thought was correct but after i got them theywere wrong so i sent them back for a full refund minus 9.90 freight. I still need to figure out what i need for my 27 inch wall oven. Please help. Thanks

Disconnect power to burner module. Dissassemble module with nut driver. Screws connecting feed wires to burner were too corroded to remove. Cut wire close to screws, stripped insulation and inserted new ends into new burner. Reassembled module with nut drivers.

Watched the video on the PartSelect site. Could not have been an easier repair and I saved the cost of a service call - probably saved at least $100 - $150 in service call and I can only guess what the labor cost would have been. With multimeter checked resistance of oven sensor. Specs called for 1100 ohms. It was off by 27 ohms. The sensor from Part Select had exact wire connection as original. Then just matter of undoing old and reconnecting with new one.

After tilting the oven door out and sliding it up to remove it, I slid the storage drawer our completely from the range. After removing the spring that held the hinge assembly under tension, I removed 3 phillips head screws that held the existing assembly in place and removed it. Read more einstalled the new part, fastened the screws, attached the tension spring, installed the storage drawer, and then slid the oven door back in place on the brackets, completing the repair.

repair went fine, real easy.

Removed the door. Unscrewed the hinge from front of oven. Took broiler drawer out. Unhooked the spring. Removed hinge. Screwed new hinge in. Rehooked the spring. Slid oven door back on hinges. Mission accomplished. Oven door works like a champ. Wife happy.

i slid the oven out unplugged it !! , removed back cover with a nut driver, removed the two retaining nuts from the old bake element ,opened oven door removed two nuts that hold bake element to the back of the oven , installed new bake element then attached wires in the back of oven to the new element re installed retaining screws inside ... Basically very easy. Be sure to follow suggested safe practices - DO shut off the circuit breaker to the unit BEFORE starting (I didn't to start with, shorted out the heater leads - dumb on my part). Just removed the burned out element by removing the 2 screws using a nutdriver, pulled the element out, and slipped off the crimp fittings ... Read more . Reverse steps to install replacement. The crimp fittings were stubborn coming off the old one, so it took longer than expected. Otherwise, easy peasy.

The very first thing we did was turned the circuit breaker off and unplugged the range.
My husband removed the back panel and unplugged the switch. Drew a diaghram of the color coded wires. When we received the new one he broke the extension bar off to fit the knob, plugged it in and we were back in business. It was very easy for m ...
