I actually don't remember if instructions came with purchase. I have purchased appliance parts from here before and they did on previous times. I watched a couple of YouTube videos because I'm a visual guy (as I think most guys are) and the only difference between my reality and the video was I had nuts holding the element in place and ... Read more the video had screws holding it in place. Extremely easy!! TURN OFF POWER TO STOVE.....PLEASE. Confirm power is OFF (clock not working...range wont turn on....something like that) Take oven door off hinges (mine just slid off without any problem). Remove defective element from oven. In the back there are two screws or bolts, take them out. SLOWLY pull old element out. Be careful and look for the insulation that will try to come out of the hole and watch for the wires that are attached to the element. The wires will come out far enough for you to work with them (about 6" or so). Be very careful NOT to jerk wires through holes too much or damage them. Remove wires from element. I used two pliers, one on element and one on wire crimp...I also sprayed wd40 on the connection prior and let it set for a short time before to loosen it up. Once separated, discard old element. Get new element and reverse the process. I reconnected wires, making sure to put them back in the exact same side they came off of. Ease the element power prongs back through the holes (VERY CAREFULLY, DON'T RUSH AND TEAR IT UP). The new element will fit exactly where the old one came off and just put the screws or bolts back in place and be VERY CAREFUL NOT TO STRIP THE SCREWS OR BOLTS. Turn power back on at breaker and turn on oven to check and see that it works. It should work great. This is the second part I've purchased from these guys and both jobs went flawlessly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys...plus it's almost the only place I could find to get the parts, but still they are great.

took out the old element after cutting the circuit breaker, put in the new one, it was that easy

What I had to do was open the slot for the burner pan more as it would not fit properly in. So we snip the burner pan a little and now it fits great.

Turned power off. Removed two screws holding the element. Pulled element out 3 inches, disconnected the two wires, pulled out old element, connected wires of new element, replaced screws. Turned power back on. Eureka!! the oven heats again. :-)

After removing the screws holding the element in I disconnected the wires and attached alligator clips to the wires to keep them from pulling back inside the holes. I would have had to pull the stove out and removed some covers if they disappeared through the holes. After getting the part number off of the old element, I ordered a new e ... Read more lement from Partselect.com and received the new one in less the a week. Reinstalling the new element took about 5 minutes.

Removed oven shelves (30 seconds). Removed 2 screws holding broken element to oven (2 minutes). Pulled broken element assembly out & removed 2 wires attached to element (1 minute). Connected wires to new element (just push them into place) and mounted new element with the 2 screws (1 1/2 minutes). Turned on oven element to test & sinc ... First I switched the fuse to the oven had no power and then I removed the old element and wiped down the inside with a damp towel.
I then attached the new element and then used the screws to attach the element firmly into place.
I then restored power by switching the fuse back and then burned the element to remove and chemicals ... Read more and then done

I removed the two screws with a nut driver, pulled the element out far enough to expose the connection point and disconnected the electrical clips. Upon receipt of the new element I did those things in reverse order and it worked great.

This repair was idiot-proof. Removed 2 screws, unplugged the old part, plugged in the new one, and replaced the 2 screws.
Literally a 2 minute repair!!

Piece of cake. 2 screws and a flashlight. I needed needle nose pliers to insert the "plugs" into the "sockets."

first removed the two screws,pulled the element out ,disconnected the wires, pulled it out , cleaned the oven and then reversed the process. could not have been easier for a do it yourself homeowner on a budget.

Pulled out the burner. Just pulled and out it came. Looked you up online. Crawled around on the floor trying to find the model number. (This was the hardest part of the whole process.) Ordered the part; it came the very next day despite the fact that I didn't order special shipping. Unpacked the part, plugged it in. And it worked!!!!

Removed to screws holding the bake element in place. pulled out element to get to the 2 electrical connectors. removed connectors from old unit. connected new unit and secured with the screwes. very simple.

The replacement element came within a couple of days of our order. From the time I saw it by the front door till the repair was complete was about 10 minutes. Half the time was taken in walking to my tool box. In just a few minutes we had tested the new element and were ready to make dinner. Great value for the price.
