Piece of cake. Pulled range out, unplugged it, opened stove, unscrewed element from back of stove w/ socket wrench, pulled out 1/2 way, unplugged bad bake element from the 2 wires, plugged in new bake element in, reattached to back of oven, plugged in stove and it worked.

Remove two screws holding element. Pull element forward exposing connections. Pull connections apart. Replace with new element. replace screws. Done

removed two screws, pulled element out (which broke at the sparking site) Took screw driver to push off where the element was connected. Put new one in, re-did screws. Turned on and off oven. shut power off to range, took 2 screws out, took 2 snap on clips off old element. put snap on clips on new element, put 2 screws back in, and turned breaker on.

With less than 24 hrs from ordering to delivery, I was making cookies. Installation was quick and painless.

Removed the two screws pulled out the old element and slid the new element in and put the screws back in. I used it that night to bake supper

First I removed the two screws holding the element to the back of the oven. When I pulled the element out I disconnected the two wires and removed the element. I found the serial / part number on the existing part and order from PartSelect. The element arrived two days sooner than expected!! Replacing the element was a bit more difficu ... Read more lt in that I had to pull the stove away from the wall and remove the rear cover in order to pull the wires and element through the insulation in the back of the oven. Four screws held the rear cover, but once those were removed the element easily went into place and the repair was finished. Cleaning behind and under the stove took a few extra minutes but the entire repair only took about 30 minutes, plus the wait time for the part. Two tips, pliers were used to disconnect and reconnect the slip-on connectors. The connectors were pretty tight and reaching to the rear of the oven was difficult to get leverage to pull apart and reconnect. Also, the oven light caused considerable glare on my glasses so I taped the door button controlling the oven light and used a flashlight to see inside. Otherwise, a simple repair. PartSelect had the best price on the element and service and delivery were excellent!

Simply turned off the power (circuit box). Unscrewed the screws holding the element in place and detached the element from the wires. Replaced with the new element and replaced the screws. Turned the power back on. Easy as pie and saved lots of $$!

Turned off circuit breaker for Range. Removed the 2 screws holding element and pulled wires attached to the element through holes. Disconnected the wires and attached new element. Removed two scres that hold element in Place. Pulled out element about 3" and removed wire disconnect. Re-connected new element and re-installed mounting screws. Very easy. Parts were delivered promptly. Great service!!!! Thank you Parts select!!!!! Saved me a trip to Sears to purchas a new element or Stove.

After noticing it needed replaced I went to PartSelect, put in model/serial# and order that easy. It was here the next day. The oven was fixed. Now back to baking...thanks PartSelect.

pulled out oven, unplugged power. Removed back cover for element, disconnect old element. Moved to front of oven and removed the two screws that held the old element,removed old element. Installed new element, connect element, installed cover, reconnect power.

Very simple. Two small hex shaped screws hold the unit to the back of the stove. Remove those with a small socket wrench. Rachet type makes the job easier. Replace the push-on wires, push the element back into the holes in the rear of the stove and screw the small hex shaped screws back into the oven wall. The job is done.

I followed the directions in the video on the website. The repair was so easy!! I simply unscrewed the screws holding the element in place at the back of the oven, pulled the wires out. This did take a little bit of time, as I didn't want to pull the wire off of the element and lose it in the back of the oven, but I was able to eventua ... I slid off the old element, slid the wires back on to the new one and pushed them back into the wall of the oven and replaced the screws. Works like a charm!!
