I actually don't remember if instructions came with purchase. I have purchased appliance parts from here before and they did on previous times. I watched a couple of YouTube videos because I'm a visual guy (as I think most guys are) and the only difference between my reality and the video was I had nuts holding the element in place and ... Read more the video had screws holding it in place. Extremely easy!! TURN OFF POWER TO STOVE.....PLEASE. Confirm power is OFF (clock not working...range wont turn on....something like that) Take oven door off hinges (mine just slid off without any problem). Remove defective element from oven. In the back there are two screws or bolts, take them out. SLOWLY pull old element out. Be careful and look for the insulation that will try to come out of the hole and watch for the wires that are attached to the element. The wires will come out far enough for you to work with them (about 6" or so). Be very careful NOT to jerk wires through holes too much or damage them. Remove wires from element. I used two pliers, one on element and one on wire crimp...I also sprayed wd40 on the connection prior and let it set for a short time before to loosen it up. Once separated, discard old element. Get new element and reverse the process. I reconnected wires, making sure to put them back in the exact same side they came off of. Ease the element power prongs back through the holes (VERY CAREFULLY, DON'T RUSH AND TEAR IT UP). The new element will fit exactly where the old one came off and just put the screws or bolts back in place and be VERY CAREFUL NOT TO STRIP THE SCREWS OR BOLTS. Turn power back on at breaker and turn on oven to check and see that it works. It should work great. This is the second part I've purchased from these guys and both jobs went flawlessly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys...plus it's almost the only place I could find to get the parts, but still they are great.

Very easy repair. Part came wrong the first time (my fault for ordering the wrong one). Called and ordered the correct one after a closer match to the original part. Delivered much quicker than promised (one day) and installation very easy. Will use this site for all future repairs.

I watched the video on the website then installed the part. In fact, I watched the video twice because I could not believe it was that easy. You can not do any better than PartSelect. We were able to purchase the part and replace it for under $25. We took off the oven door and installed the new element in under 10 minutes.

Using a wrench, removed old element and simply installed new one - took less than 10 minutes and the oven was working again! Best part was how quickly the item reached us - ordered it on a Wednesday afternoon and had it by Friday afternoon, with no expedited shipping - Great Service!

Super simple to repair, removed back cover on oven (after turning off breaker), removed old terminals from over, had to bend new element slightly close to terminals, installed new and replaced oven cover. Less than 15 minutes.

This is how I did it--but I would strongly recommend you do step 4 first, and skip step 3! Remember, because 240V circuits have 2 "hot" wires, they may be "hot" (120V to ground) even when switched off!

1. Removed the mounting screws with a nut driver.

5. Separated the connectors. Had to use pliers on the one I "fried".
6. Connected new element (connectors pushed together easily.

I took out the two racks from inside the oven. I then took my cordless screw driver and unscrewed the two hex bolts from the back of the oven , where the element goes through the other side. Next I went to the back of the outside of the oven and unscrewed the two hex bolts that hold the gray guard on(It covers the wires). I unplugged the ... Read more red and the yellow (might have been a white wire since it was dark back there). wires that connect to the element. I went to the front of the stove and took out the bad element. I took the new one and inserted it into the two holes from the old element. Plugged the red and yellow wires back up and replaced the guard. Lastly I screwed the element to the rear of the oven with the two hex bolts I used before.

First I unplugged the stove. I then removed the two screws that held the element in place. I then pulled the element out about four inches to expose the connection. I disconnected the two wires, removed the element and replaced it with the new one. I then reassembled the oven in reverse order. It was very simple.

First i turned off the main electricity for the oven. Then I removed the two screws with my socket wrench. Then i pulled the element out about 3 inches then disconnected the 2 wires that heated the element. I simply reversed the process to put in the new bake element and i was done.

The hardest part of repair was moving the oven from the cabnets to unplug and gain access to rear of oven. Remove rear cover panel unplug two spade connectors attached to the heating element. first i unplugged the stove to disconnect all power. next itried using pliers to unscrew the screws and was having a hard time so hubby got the adjustable wrench and it was much easier. after taking out the two screws, i pulled the element out about three inches and disconnected the element from the two wires that hold it in place. then i ... Read more snapped the new element in place just as the old one was and reattached the element to the stove using the two screws. after assuring that element was secure, i turned my oven on to 300 degrees and voila!!! we're cookin again!!!

the only challenging thing realizing that the screws in the back weren't for a screw driver, they were for a very small wrench. Since I didn't have such a tool, I just used vice grips. It all went well though. The oven currently heats to 400 degrees in 7.5 min. I am quite happy.
