Twice I ordered the oven light bulb & each time the light bulb was defected
I had to call for a appointment for repair with GE Appliance because I thought then it . .was something electrical. The technician came out & checked everything out, turned out it was not electrical, The technician went out to his truck got a light bulb from his truck, put it in & it worked. It cost me $121.00 for trip charge from GE appliance for a light bulb that worked, your light bulbs were defective twice. Very disappointed with your products, cost me alot of money for a good light bulb thru GE appliance
I've been searching for new drip pans for my very old Kenmore gas stove for over 5 years, and this is the first company to give me the specialized help to find them. Kenmore drip pans for my model are made by another company, which I did not know, and the customer support rep also was helpful in telling me how to measure the stove opening to get the right size. The price was very reasonable, the installation took 30 seconds, and I am again happy to look at and use my stove. I will make future part purchases at PartSelect. Thank you. J Ahrens
Replaced the 4 plates for the stove. It was easy to order over the website. It was delivered on time. Great service.Totally refer the company to a friend. Great company!
Inner glass of slide in range was cracked needed replaced
Removed door from Oven. removed screws from several components comprising the door and separated pieces. Removed broken glass. Prior to putting back together I took advantage of the convenience and used oven cleaner to clean inner portion of door. Installed new glass. Reassembled door.
0. As a safety precaution, unplug the range or hit the relevant fuse breaker before you start. You might also want to grab a flashlight. Definitely do not try to do this while the oven is hot. 1. Pinch the wire over the light bulb cap to remove it. This is inside the oven at the back. 2. Pop off the hemispherical glass cap. 3. Unscrew the old light bulb, and screw the new light bulb in its place. 4. Put the cap back. 5. Secure the cap by putting the wire back in its slots on the cap.
No tools needed, the cap is just held in place with pressure from the wire.
Replaced old ignition module with new module from parts select. The most important tip was to label each lead before removing from old ignition module.
The spark control module is located in the top section near the clock. Take off the back cover. Use needle nose pliers to disconnect the wires. The modules are marked with letters so connecting the new module is very easy. The range works great. My Kenmore is a 1985 model.
