90131 Litton Range - Instructions

This wasn't much of a repair -- rather a replacement of a simple abused part. At the same time, PartSelect allowed me to order what I needed after two failed attempts to buy replacements that would fit the range. I'll remember PartSelect if we need parts for other older appliances in the rental units.

i read the installation instructions and followed them. first i made sure that each heating element was off. next i carefully removed each one (a total of 4) from it's plug and lifted the worn out drip-bowl up and replaced it with the new one. finally i pluged in (a total of 4) heating elements and turned them on to make sure them were wo ... Was glad to get the correct ones for a 30 year old stove. Had already wasted $12 shipping trying to order from someone else.

remove elements and replace bowles

Remove burner elements. Remove old drip pans. Thoroughly clean stove top under drip pan edges, and under top cover. Install new drip pans. Install burner elements.

Removed burner and then burner pan.Then replaced pan and reinstalled burner.

I removed the old and repaced with new. I never ordered anything one day and got it the next. I'm impressed

Ordered and received the terminal block. Installed it along with a new 220V power cord and the appropriate insulator . Ensured the terminals were tight with a nut driver. Reinstalled cover. Then, using the control panel, I did a function check on all the heating elements, clock, oven light, to satisfy all operational requirements. All ch ... Read more ecked good! And, I was relieved that the control panel had not been shorted out as the terminal block was due to a loose connection. Easy fix.

used the supplied parts...very easy. The parts were exact replacements.

1) removed heating elements. 2) removed drip pans. 3) installed new drip pans. 4) reinstalled heating elements

Very easy repair. Removed burner eyes, to get top off. A few screws. Removed bad thermostat and fed new one thru existing hole. Mounted to same holes and used existing clamps. Works great.Thanks

First I disconnect the breaker. I removed the defected receptacle and cut the wires. I connected the new receptacle with parts with the new part. Turned the breaker back on and everthing worked fine.

I unplugged the stove. Took out the burner and removed receptacle by pulling it out of the bracket and clipping the wires. One thing you want to make sure is that when you clip the wires from the receptacle you're replacing you leave enough wire so that you can connect them to the wires on the new receptacle when it is in place on the ... The bracket I received didn't match the one on the stove so I used the one on the stove since the receptacle itself was the same as the one I was replacing.
