Remove old filter- put in new filter. EASY!!!!!!!!

Ordering and installing was easy. The hardest part was getting the exact match to 20 yr. old appliance knobs. First one I ordered had wrong shaft hole, but it matched perfectly in design. Decided to reorder and just replace all four with matching new-style knobs and the correct shaft hole. Yeah. Looks great and REALLY easy to install.

Ordered new cartridges

took old knobs off replaced in 3 minutes

Removed what was left of the original clips. Pressed in the new clips and snapped in the themostat blub

Pulled old knobs off, pressed new ones on. Probably well under a minute for 6 knobs. Anyone with the IQ of a horseradish could have done it. But what was really great was the help and personality of the agent at the other end of the phone. Shipping was as promised, and the entire experience was delightful!

Knobs sent fit the shafts, but due to molded internal stop wouldn't seat. Had to drill out the stop, and also file down the shafts a bit for knobs to seat acceptably closer to stove-top.

Turned power to stove off. Removed two screws from cover - lifted cover up and pulled switch out and disconnected wires. Put new switch in and connected wires. Pulled out the old one-couldn't find it ANYWHERE that was a comparable match except for partselect. shut off breaker to oven-put in the new one-hard to reach in due to limited space and hard to see due to sticking your head in an oven.used a mirror/flashlight to see behind element to unscrew and screw it back in.Other than space restricti ... Replaced wires from broken to new part.

even though these sre washable filters it's still necessary to change them after so much time

Pulled out old one and slipped in the new one.

Ordered the part. It arrived in about 4 days. Took a screw driver and in just a few minutes, it was working again. BINGO

Turn off elec. power at breaker box. Check twice. Removed burner switch cover. caarefull remove wires from switch, note with color to which terminal remove nut on switch replace new switch replace wires to switch, replace cover turn on power. ready.

The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new ligh ...
