Just a couple of minutes to left off the cover grid, left out the old filter and drop in the new one.

Locate and open appropriate breaker to kill power to the range. (very important if you intend to see tomorrow).

Pull off the control knob.

Remove 2 screws that hold in control pannel.

Lift out the control pannel to the extent that the wires will let you. (2-3 inches)

Remove the wires one at a time and reconnect them to the new switch. Make sure to connect them the same way on the new switch.

Re-install the switch in the pannel.

Re-install the pannel in the stove.

Close breaker and test burner contol.

I simply lifted off the grille in the center of the stove, pulled out the old filter and dropped the new one in. It sits at an angle (right side down, left side up) rather than slotting in to a particular spot.

Took the old knobs off and replaced them with the new!

It's wonderful to get accessories for this 20 year old Jenn-Air. I love it and now it looks like new.

Read more is is coming from a 36 year old female who has been around electrical work, but never done any myself. My husband was out of town and I felt I could do the job. I first made sure I had another adult present. I turned off the power to the oven. I then removed the visible screws to the element plate (2 on top and 1 in lower middle). I then pulled the element out enough to get behind the plate and feel the screws that were connecting the wires to the element/ground. Again 3 total. The oven space is very small and difficult to work in. I had to do a lot by feel. Once the old element was free I just exchanged it for the new one and reversed the process, making sure all the wires were tight. I then turned the power back on. Turned the oven on, it smoked lightly for a moment and turned red hot. Over all it was extreemly simple.

Bought a new
capacitor.

I unplugged electrical cord to the freezer. I removed the cover to the relay and load protector. I labeled the wires and made a diagram on the proper placement of each wire going to the relay. I unplugged each wire and removed the relay. Then I removed the load protector. I installed the new load protector and new relay. I placed the wire ... Read more s on the proper terminals of the relay. I replaced the electrical cover to the relay and load protector. I plugged the electrical cord back in the electrical outlet. My freezer started working again. I placed several bottles of water in the freezer to make sure the freezer was working properly before I restocked it with food.

This was a simple job. Raised the flap in the back that houses the compressor, removed the wire that holds the relay, pulled out the old relay and pushed the new one on. Replaced wire holder and that was it. Plugged it frig and freezer is at zero and lower compartment at 35. As easy as brushing your teeth!

I located the part that was the culprit as it had buzzed very much before quitting. This is an easy removal as the part is in a two prong jack and just needs to be carefully removed with the new part inserted back in the jack provided. After searching on the internet for a very long time, we were almost ready to order the screws "blind" (no picture) from Sears for almost $10.oo per screw. Then I stumbled onto this website and found exactly what I was looking for, with a detailed description AND a picture!! Not to mention a price that was two thirds less than Sears..fo ... Read more r TWO screws. Now the oven door is secure and we are no longer on our search for the right screws.

following the directions in the package and on-line, this repair was easier than i could have imagined. changing out these two parts took less than 15 minutes.

Turned off electricity at the circuit box. Removed four screws from panel cover that housed the switch. disconected the wires from the old switch and replaced the old switch with the new one reconected the wires put the panel cover back on. voila done.

Made sure the circuit breaker was off. Labeled the wires and then disconnected them. Removed the old switch.
Ordered the part using the diagram on-line, very easy to identify part and order it. Part arrived earlier than expected using standard shipping.
