851067 (AWYAUSH) LG Air Conditioner - Instructions

Took front cover off air conditioner and pulled it a little forward out of the outdoor housing. I then flipped the LED display section out to the left and exposed the patch panel. Read more e grid bracket and placed the new one in. I then replaced everything else in reverse order. I have two LG air conditioners and they both have the same connection setup.

Remove the front cover. Slide the unit forward a few inches from the case. Remove 1 screw from the top on the control box. Unsnap the old thermister leads going into the circuit board. Snap in the new thermister and place the end in the plastic holder in front of the coils. Install front cover.

everything went great and was just as planned. We now have cool air in the shop for us to do our handy work. Thanks, Dale Heltzel

I hotwired the compressor and fan directly to 110 volts and it all functioned so I knew it was electronics. Ordered two circuit boards and after putting the first one in it fired right up. Read more use the old remote continued to work. Not sure if a new board would work with the old remote or if the remote needed to be replaced also...

Took off broken grill and put on new one
