This return line is comprised of a high-quality rubber and metal pump attachment at one end and a metal tube and plastic reservoir attachment at the other end. Depending on your model, you may need a set of pliers or a wrench to disconnect and remove the old line. This transducer is sourced from the original manufacturer for use in paint sprayers. The transducer, also known as a pressure transducer or pressure sensor, is responsible for monitoring and measuring the pressure of the paint being sprayed. The transducer then relays this information to the control system which allows the sprayer to remain in the desired spray parameters and prevent over pressurization. Transducers can fail due to electrical issues, or mechanical damage, which can cause inaccurate pressure readings, loss of control, inconsistent spray patterns, poor paint application and fluctuating pressure rates. To remove a faulty transducer first, disconnect the electrical wires and fasteners holding it in place. Position the new transducer in the empty slot and reattach the electrical connections and any mounting hardware to complete your repair.
