79763 (ASTCSEF) LG Refrigerator - Instructions

I screwed the old one out and replaced it with the new one. A no-brainer. The thing that was so amazing was that I ordered the filter on the intrnet and it arrived the very next day!!! I was very surprised and pleased with the very quick shipping!!!

slid screw driver under edge of switch, easy.

I popped the old switch out of place and then disconnected the wire harness from the switch with a pair of needle nose pliers. I then inserted the harness into the new switch and popped the switch into place. Super easy and fast.

Gave model number on website, found picture of icemaker section. Ordered part that came in 3 days and switched old for new

Easy repair. Unplugged refer. Took back cover off with screwdriver. Unscrewed the support for the pump. Unhooked water lines from both ends of bad pump. Pulled electrical line off the old pump. Put the support on the new pump, hooked up lines, and electrical plug and screwed the pump to the frame. Put the coever back on unit. Plugg ... Read more ed back into wall. Worked immediately.

Removed the damaged tube and replaced the it with a new one.

Uncoupled the old connector, replaced with new connector and attached supply line. Repair easy with right part, prior to ordering the right part I had tried a compression fitting and it still leaked. U-tube and others demonstrating repair assured me I was on the right path.

So easy that my 13 years old son replaced it.

unfortunately my fridge stopped working. I purchased another but wanted to try and repair the old one. when ew one arrived, the old one was supposed to be put in garage but instead was hauled away. Had delivery return next day but they had as already removed and lost the handle screw for the bottom freezer and the screw that holds handle ... Read more in place. ordered the handle screw and picked up the nut. very simple to install the screw and put handle back on.

I called LG and followed the instructions given over the phone. The instructions couldn't have been simpler. Disconnect the appliance for several hours and then connect again. I disconnected the appliance overnight, cleaned out the freezer, and reconnected it. Problem solved. Did not need to call a repairman and did not use the clips.

Unscrewed cover, 2 screws. Had some trouble getting it out. Was concerned about damaging the cover and cracking the plastic. Was able to remove it with no damage but it comes out of the installation slots very hard. Be patient and wiggle it until it comes out. Two more screws release the led board. It was changed very easily. Reassembly ... Read more was easy but had to fight the plastic cover to get it to snap into place. Tightened the two screws for the cover. Broke the cover where the flat of one of the screws tightens against. I ordered other parts which assembled well. One part came in incorrect which I was reimbursed for and the new part was sent right out. Over all I give Parts Select a A ratin

With alot of elbow grease and a pair of pliars we managed to get the old connector off wo cuttig the tubing as the tubing was getting to short from being cut once to many times & there was no more play in the length.Original connector was a different color and shapped slightly different than the new one so was a bit concerned that I had ... Read more ordered the wrong part but it went one very easily & did not leak. We even managed to remove it again just to see if it was possible wo cutting again. it came off with no trouble.I would say the replacement part was a better fit than the original simply because we could remove it easily wo having to cut the tube!

My husband took out the ice maker. We ordered the part. He looked on YouTube for instructions. Including looking up instructions, I think it took him way less than an hour.
