Replace with new switch. this is the third switch i have replaced in 10 years. the only part, besides a light bulb, that has gone bad. obviously this is a problem with this model for Kenmore, or just poor switch design.

Easy job. Just don't get the parts from this place. First part was no good and delivered was past deadline after I paid for expedited shipping. Had to get new part delivered which in three days increased in price and then still waited for ten days WITH expedited shipping. Have not been reimbursed for first part that was no good AND my

Once I determined the problem to be the ice maker I got on line and came across "Part Select" website, I simply put in the make & model # and I quickly found the part I needed and placed my order, much to my surprise I received the replacement part the next day. The removal and installation was extremely easy, I simply removed two "Allen"

head screws holding the ice maker in place and removed the unit, next I un-plugged the electrical coupling and removed the ground wire. I installed the new part in the same manner the entire process took me less the 15 minutes, and most importantly we had ice in less then 2 hours.

The ice bin I ordered did not arrive on time and, when tracking indicated it was delivered, it was not here. I notified customer service and was told that they would cancel that order and I could order again.and make a payment, to include shipping, again and I would be reimbursed. Two days later the first order showed up. I notified cu

stomer service that the item had shown up and I installed it therfore requested the second order be deleted. Was told that it was already enroute and they would send me necessary paperwork to return it. upon receipt of the paperwork I followed the instructions bur, when I contacted UPS (as directed) was advised that I would have to pay shipping of about $19. unless Partselect requested and paid for shipping and sent me the shipping label. I received the shipping label but, when I contacted UPS was advised that I would stoll have to pay to have the item picked up at my house and, unless I wanted to pay that cost I should deliver the package to a UPS pick up location........all the way across town through heavy traffic, about 25 miles. I should have kept the second bin along with the first, given it away or thrown it away and the cost would have been re imbursed. Trying to do the right thing, I was responsible for additional cost and aggravation .......Thanks a lot!!!!

The past I ordered was broken upon delivery. I asked for a replacement and was refunded the charge. Tried to contact you but "due to covid" you aren't taking calls. Net result: I ordered the part from another source, got it, installed easily. Won't use you again.
