I called a repair place. They charged $54 to diagnose, (said it needed a new latch motor) then wanted $220 to complete the repair. I checked online prices and did it myself for about 15 minutes work and the latch motor itself ($44?).

I was selling my home and did not realize that the anti-tip bracket was not originally installed. A home inspection caught the problem and the buyers required that I install one. I could not find one locally so I found what I needed on your website. It arrived in a couple of days and was easy to install. I used the template provided in the kit and drove the screws through the bracket into the wood plate behind the drywall. Pushed the range back in place and that's it. Couldn't get any easier.

Unplugged unit and removed back panel with nut driver. Removed door, racks and unscrewed element braces from back of unit. Removed element and installed the new one. Reversed the process and then ran the unit through a preheat cycle to test it.

The light apparatus was loose behind the panel. Remove the remaining part of the lens. Install the new lens from the outside of the panel and hold it in position, protruding into the inside of the panel. I couldn't unscrew the leveling foot because it was rusted and corroded. The bracket holding it was easy to remove so I took the bracket with the corroded foot off and replaced it with the new foot and bracket. Very simple. I made sure I oiled it so it wouldn't rust again.

turned power off at fuse box took of back panel about8-10 nuts unhooked wires with pliers that went to element then took2 nuts out that held element up and 2nuts holding element took out and put new one in works great

New ones fit perfectly. Take a minute to bend the frame straight. Then and I used oversize screws on the replacement parts as the drop had stripped out the screw holes of the frame.

First remove all pieces of the broken lens. You may have to use tweezers to do this. after all broken pieces are removed place the replacement lens inthe opening and carefully snap the bottom side in place then snap the top side in place useing ypour thumb to apply pressure to the lens.

Pulled out the cracked pieces with tweezers. The only really important thing is that the bottom tab of the replacement lens is the 'hooked' shape, whereas the straight tab goes ton top. Place the bottom tab in first, push to get the side tabs in, then the top tab snaps into place. Easy peasy.

Turned off power at breaker, took back off range, removed red and blue wires, removed oven door, removed two screws holding in broil element, removed wires supporting old element, installed new element and reversed procedure.

I unplugged the Stove/Oven electrical cord from the wall, then removed the oven door by unlocking the door brackets with a flat head screw driver then closing the door to the last position before it closes and removing the door from the stove (found instructions on YouTube - very easy, which is optional), then removed the oven racks. Rem ... Read more oving the door made it a lot easier to access the broil element and element support bracket screws using a socket wrench. I removed the screws from the rear cover on the back of the stove with a socket wrench to access and disconnect the broil element wires with my hand (pliers if needed). I removed the old broil element and inserted and reconnected the new broil element wires, then re-installed the rear cover. I tightened the broil element in place then re-installed the element support bracket and screws, replaced the oven racks, re-installed the oven door and plugged the stove into the wall. This took about twenty minutes and the broil element is working fine.

Moved the stove. Used the template to position the bracket. Put the supplied screws to attach bracket to the floor. Slid stove back into place. DONE!

Pulled the range out, unplugged it, removed upper back panel, inserted lens through front of control panel, slid the notch on the actual light onto the lip on the back of the plastic lens. Done!
