The bulb has a plastic clear cover. That cover can just be carefully removed using a screwdriver. It's held in by a metal bracket. After you remove the cover. You'll just need to replace the bulb and then re-install the cover and bracket.

Oven would not get up or stay up to selected temperature

Pull stove out to get behind it,unplug temperature probe plug. Remove temp probe from oven by removing the screw holding it in place on back of oven. Cut plug off temp probe unit leaving as much lead wire as possible on plug end. Strip wires on new probe and end of plug wires(one quarter inch). Then I used two small butt connectors to joi n the stripped wires, one for each pair of wires. Two small wire 'nuts' may also be used as the connections are outside the oven and not exposed to the heat of the oven while it is in operation. Hope this helps the inexperienced 'do it yourselfers'--:)

Temp did not match readout.

Replaced temp probe and checked OK. This model did not have a full back as the instructional video showed. No cover to remove at all. Only suggestion might be to include two wire nuts of proper size. Average wire nut would be too big. Fortunately, I happened to have a couple.

really bad ugly streaks inside of glass
  • John from Hemet, CA
  • Really Easy
  • 15 - 30 mins
  • Screw drivers
open door, throw the door latches at the hinges and remove door. Take the out of the outer panel so you can separate the glasses. remove clip that hold the outer glass in place. I ordered a replacement glass as I never thought that it would come clean it looked so bad, but it cleaned up like new so I now have a spare glass for my oven door . Just reverse the way you take it apart to put it back together.

While cooking using the inner burner (small burner) I heard a bang with a spark after which the range doesn't work anymore.
  • Donlevy from Garland, TX
  • Really Easy
  • 15 - 30 mins
  • Pliers, Wrench set
I bought the clock/timer board from Part Select. After receiving the part I open the back panel of the clock/timer and replace the board. I took out the wires one after the other and replace the wire one at a time until I finished replacing all wires. I went to the garage and switch on the breaker switch for the range and everything works well so far. I'm not sure though if the clock/timer that I purchased from Part Select includes the fix to the flow.
