Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. 6 nuts off, remove electrical connections on old, put them on new, reconnect bolts. Dun.

Removed broken element, four screws. Element ends were attached to the oven via wire clips. Removed those too. Placed clips on the ends of the new element and remounted to the top of the oven enclosure with the fours screens. Took twenty to twenty five minutes. We had Tbones a little while later. Saved over 125.00 for repairman.

Unscrewed the old element (2) screws, then unscrewed the (2) brackets holding the element up, pulled the element out of the back wall of the oven unhooked the (2) electrical wires and left them hanging. Installation is in the exact reverse order.

Would have been simple if Frigidare had not changed the plastic snap wire connector on the part. The replacement part had a different snap together wire connection. After a couple of phone calls stating that the new part and the old part had different part numbers was informed that you have to snip off the ends and use wire connects but ... Read more it was the right part. Once I knew that it was a simple repair if you have the wire connects to connect the wires.

took door off and tore it down making sure of each step so I could put it back together, removed broken glass and replaced with new piece and reassembled. Read more e and removed. New probe did not have the same connector (problem) so you have to splice the two together, I did not like that but it works. This is a simple repair and did not take very long to complete. Everything is working fine.

removed back. discovered wrong connector on probe. Cut the connectors off and spliced with small butt connector. Took me longer to find the tools and connector than to do the repair. I bought the clock/timer board from Part Select. After receiving the part I open the back panel of the clock/timer and replace the board. I took out the wires one after the other and replace the wire one at a time until I finished replacing all wires. I went to the garage and switch on the breaker switch for the range and everything works ... Read more well so far. I'm not sure though if the clock/timer that I purchased from Part Select includes the fix to the flow.

Pulled stove away from the wall and unplugged it. Removed probe and cut the wires because the connection clip on the new probe was different from the original. Leave the wires as long as possible because you will need the extra length to splice the clip from the old probe to the wires on the new one. Replaced probe and plugged the oven ba ... Timer was bad. Removed the four screws on the rear panel, and then the four screws holding the timer in place. I let the old one dangle by the wires until the new one was in place, then just switched the wires one at a time. There is one set that has a plastic connector, and you need a small flat screwdriver to depress the locking tab on ... Read more the top of the connector to release it. Be sure and order a new face plate as the old one will not come off without tearing. Re-install rear cover and your done.

replaced temp probe per your suggestion. No improvement! checked both heating elements with ohm meter. OK Next suggestion was replace circuit boards. Bought new range for less than cost of 2 oven/range control boards.

I unplugged the stove. Then I lifted up the top of the stove to expose the burners. I unscrewed the necessary screws and plugs that attached the old burner to the stove.
