Part #5304509451
This fuse, also known as a cartridge fuse, is a genuine OEM replacement part for microwaves. It has a glass cylindrical body with a metal cap on each end. The cap connects the fuse to the circuit. If the current goes above the fuse rating, the element inside the glass will melt and cut off the electrical current to the appliance. This protects the circuit and surrounding components from overheating and becoming damaged. Once the fuse is blown, the appliance will likely not operate at all, however, the fuse is designed to be easily replaceable. It is recommended to use insulated gloves and to avoid touching any exposed wiring connections. To replace the fuse, use a fuse puller to grip the metal caps and lift it out of the holder. Place the new fuse in the holder and ensure it is properly seated. Turn the appliance back on and check that the circuit is functioning.

This OEM waveguide cover in your microwave is a heat-resistant component that prevents food, grease, and moisture from entering the waveguide. It is typically located on the side or top wall of the cooking chamber. If the cover is broken, you may notice cracks, charring, or burns, and potentially see arcing or sparks during operation. Not replacing a damaged cover can lead to short circuits and the risk of electrical components touching your food. To remove the cover, start by disconnecting the microwave from its power source before opening its door. The waveguide cover is slotted or snapped into place, so gently slide or apply pressure to release it from the clips or slots. Please note that the cover is sold individually.

Part #5304509459
This door switch is designed for use with various makes and models of microwaves and is a genuine OEM part. This individually sold switch connects to the frame of the microwave through the door switch holder, which will need to be removed completely in order to replace this switch. If your microwave will not start, displays error codes, or if the door will not shut properly and the inner light stays on, the switch could have broken from use and is in need of replacement. Due to the high voltage used within the components of microwaves, take extra caution when repairing your microwave. To replace the door switch in your microwave, disconnect the microwave from the power, and use a flat-head screwdriver to gain access to the switch through the main control panel.

I want to remove the oven capacity light. The manual says remove 2 screws from the vent but there is only one on the right side and none on the left side of the vent. How do i get the vent off?
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello Duane and thank you for writing. Some models only have one screw, you should be able to take the screw out and then use a putty knife or similar to lift and slide. Sometimes debris is stuck and you might have to wash the lens down with some warm soapy water to get it loose. Do not forget to unplug your unit before attempting this. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Rochelle - For model number 79080353310

Plate doesn't turn. Motor replaced but it only turns occasionally. Sometimes it turns 1/4 or 1/2 of a turn and stops. Could this have something to do with the plastic piece in the middle that the plate sets on top of?
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello Rochelle, thank you for contacting us. Yes, the issue with the turntable not rotating properly could be related to the plastic piece, known as the turntable motor coupler, that the plate sits on. If the coupler is damaged, worn out, or not properly aligned, it may not engage with the motor correctly, causing the turntable to turn inconsistently or stop. The compatible turntable motor coupler for your model is part number PS1993374. We would recommend checking it to solve the problem. Glad to be of assistance!

Experienced intermittent beeping. Then it showed error code e-11 and stopping working. Any ideas?
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello Chris, thank you for your question. That error code is in relation to a stuck keypad. We would recommend replacing the touch panel which is CONTROL ASSEMBLY Part #: PS8689517. I hope this helps!

First thing I dir was search YouTube for any related videos and found this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHj4H9Fdxrc, it was the exact problem my microwave was exhibiting. Once I verified the problem by troubleshooting, I removed the part and verified that the switches were working fine, the door latch assembly showed signs of wear which was the cause of the problem. After receiving the replacement part I installed it, verified that power was restored to the unit and reassembled the microwave, works fine, hope it lasts a long time!

The diagnosis is about an hour. Coz, I need to open the control panel, got a tester, and trsted all critical parts inside the panel.
Also, replaced the fuse just to make sure its a new one. Found out it was a switch (bottom part) that control the open/close of the microwave door.

When found out the problem, the rest of t he work is easy.
