79078302012 Kenmore Range - Instructions

I changed the temperature sensor and tried again. The stove again went on temp runaway and it was suggested to replace control board which is out of stock.
I will have to toss out this stove and buy new as you and no else has this part.

New ones fit perfectly. Take a minute to bend the frame straight. Then and I used oversize screws on the replacement parts as the drop had stripped out the screw holes of the frame.

I was able to find the most common reason for my oven's symptom by searching online. Went online to find replacement rack. Didn't want to spend the money for a rack I didn't like. Besides the range is 11 years old. Still in great shape. Opted for the simple oven rack.
Open the box and place in oven. Wah lah..

Unplugged range; removed back cover; removed old oven probe. Installed new probe; replaced cover; connected power and turned on range - that simple. My only issue was probe was shipped in bubble rap and unit was slightly damaged (bent). Once straightened, the probe could be installed. Probe should have been shipped in sturdy cardboa ... Removed 2 3/16 bolts and burner, set the oblong burner over the orifice and we were all done

removed screws from back cover then pulled elect. plug apart. removed screw pulled out probe installed new probe put cover back on very easy only problem was that it said that 88% of time would fix the problem. will this time it didn't work oven still over heating.

Very easy to order,part was delivered promptly and installation was easy.I unscrewed a few screws and lifted the bottom panel out and put the new one in.

I pulled the oven away from the wall, unplugged the cord, removed the back panel then removed the screw from the old sensor.

Pulled gas pressure regulator and used OEM replacement part from this site Fit like a glove.

Very simple. I removed the oven racks, loosened the two screws that held the old panel in place, lifted out the old panel and replaced it with the new one, then tightened the screws to hold the new panel in place. It took no more than 10 minutes.

Removed both oven racks the removed two screws in back. Lifted rear of panel until front lip of panel was free. Installed new panel in reverse order. I was recycled the old steel panel at our local recycling station.

Pulled oven away from cabinet area
Unplugged oven from wall outlet
Removed screws to free top panel from back of oven
Removed screws to free lower panel from back of oven
Probe backing was now exposed
Unplugged probe from connector
Removed one screw from probe housing
Twisted probe housing counterclock ... Read more wise then pulled probe out
Reversed the process to install probe
Plugged probe into connector
Reversed the panel removal process
Plugged oven back in to wall outlet
Turned on oven and tested with no further issue

Unscrewed old panel/removed and inserting new panel and used same 2 screws to secure in place.
