79072309012 Kenmore Range - Instructions

I changed the temperature sensor and tried again. The stove again went on temp runaway and it was suggested to replace control board which is out of stock.
I will have to toss out this stove and buy new as you and no else has this part.

Ordered spark ignition assembly and followed directions found on YouTube. Went very easy.

New ones fit perfectly. Take a minute to bend the frame straight. Then and I used oversize screws on the replacement parts as the drop had stripped out the screw holes of the frame.

I was able to find the most common reason for my oven's symptom by searching online. I searched for the part I needed but was not confident that I would get the correct part until I looked on partselect.com. Unplugged range; removed back cover; removed old oven probe. Installed new probe; replaced cover; connected power and turned on range - that simple. removed screws from back cover then pulled elect. plug apart. removed screw pulled out probe installed new probe put cover back on very easy only problem was that it said that 88% of time would fix the problem. will this time it didn't work oven still over heating.

Very easy to order,part was delivered promptly and installation was easy.I unscrewed a few screws and lifted the bottom panel out and put the new one in.

Screw heat shield back down. Turn power to stove back on. You’re done

I pulled the oven away from the wall, unplugged the cord, removed the back panel then removed the screw from the old sensor.

When removing the screws that hold the igniter, the screws stripped. Not my first time so I very slowly removed the screws but they still stripped. I had to cut both with a small hacksaw but be careful not to damage the bracket that is welded to the burner. After successfully removing the screws had to go get 5/16 steel self tapping screw ... Read more s to install the new igniter. Use a self tapping screw to thread the hold first then remove and install the igniter with a new screw. Job was a success. Good luck with yours

moved the stove forward and removed old cord by uncruing two small screw and on ploged the all and replaced with the new one.

Removed both oven racks the removed two screws in back. Lifted rear of panel until front lip of panel was free. Installed new panel in reverse order. I was recycled the old steel panel at our local recycling station.

Very simple. I removed the oven racks, loosened the two screws that held the old panel in place, lifted out the old panel and replaced it with the new one, then tightened the screws to hold the new panel in place. It took no more than 10 minutes.

Unscrewed old panel/removed and inserting new panel and used same 2 screws to secure in place.

Pulled oven away from cabinet area
Unplugged oven from wall outlet
Removed screws to free top panel from back of oven
Removed screws to free lower panel from back of oven
Probe backing was now exposed
Unplugged probe from connector
Removed one screw from probe housing
Twisted probe housing counterclock ... Read more wise then pulled probe out
Reversed the process to install probe
Plugged probe into connector
Reversed the panel removal process
Plugged oven back in to wall outlet
Turned on oven and tested with no further issue
