79071212700 Kenmore Range - Instructions

It went easy, I ordered the part from another vendor, received it in 3 days and it only took about 20 minutes to install.
I do not recommend ordering from PartSelect!

The bulb has a plastic clear cover. That cover can just be carefully removed using a screwdriver. It's held in by a metal bracket. After you remove the cover. You'll just need to replace the bulb and then re-install the cover and bracket.

It’s a plug in part so other than working on your side while lying on the floor it was a snap. 20-25 mins.

It helps to remove the bottom drawer completely to gain easier access.

turn the gas off unplugged it form electric removed the line took the flame plate off removed burner tube and the screw out with a nut driver that was all just put it back in reverse

Watched a half dozen You Tube Videos before I saw the Exact one-Submitted by a Woman-Super Easy-Had the Exact Part from this site!

I watched a YouTube video and followed their instructions. Pull the range out from the wall, unplug it. Take out a few screws with a nutdriver and take off the back. Unplug and unscrew the old control board. Remove the cover from the old control board (I had to use a razor knife to separate it from the control board). Stick it on the new ... Read more one (plenty of sticky stuff left), screw in the control board. Plug the wires back in, screw the back on, and you're in business. Easy, maybe five minutes work.

There were only 2 screws that held the door handle & cap in place, removed screws & handle to get cap pieces off. Ordered new cap, - lost screws - cap delivered - no screws had to order screws, damn! They're expensive too !! Got screws, installed handle & cap, now wife is happy again!

Very simple. Removed oven rack that had melted residue on it and replaced it with the new one from your company. I want to tell you that the delivery service I received was just geat. After looking over the installation instructions I was confident that I could perform this on my own, However, changing the burner orifices was a bit tricky. Getting the original ones out worked well, they stayed in the nut driver when it was lifted. One of the new ones fell out when inserting it. Thankfully it fell all the way down a ... Read more nd I could retrieve it. A small piece of tape was needed to keep it in the driver. The rest of the install went per instructions.

Was easy...I pulled oven out from the wall so I could get to the back.i used a nut driver to remove small silver cover.matched up wires to the never module and re installed.pluged oven back in and burners lit perfectly

removed the screws holding the front part of the door and from there worked my way, untill the third glass.
It took a couple hours, my first time,. Overall easy,

On the front left burner would not ignite, after the installation of the new one, same problem, new one didn't fix.. I guess it's something with the electric igniter

Pulled out broiler drawer, removed 3 bolts, plugged in new igniter. Only issue was one of the tiny bolts stripped, so now only have 2 holding it in place.

Replaced the ingintion module, still did not work, replaced the burner complete with new ingiter , it now works but another one quit . the front right one has 5 ohms resistance ,replaced with new one with 0 ohms, the back left has 2 ohms resistance and now it does not work , will need to replace that burner allso. too bad you can't buy ju ...
