We let this go for a shameful amount of time before I decided I could probably fix it. The roller broke so you could only pull it out about halfway or it would come off the track. Read more hen just basically pushed it onto the rod and it was fixed. I am ashamed it took so long to do it. Never be afraid to try it yourself. It was a total of $10 shipped to fix it.

I used a wet vac to remove the water from the dishwasher. remove cover and filter/strainer from bottom of dishwasher. remove screw which allows you to lift the plastic piece to access check valve. Original check valve looked like new , I installed new check valve re installed parts . Job done and issue resolved .

Watched a 5 min YouTube video and followed directions. Could not have performed the project without the video help. Had to remove dishwasher from under the counter to remove door from dishwasher. Glad I could perform task, would have been a costly repair. One appliance repair company would not do the job.

Turn off power to unit!
-Remove kick panel,2 screws.
-remove water valve, 2 screws, 3 electrical connections, 1 hose clamp.
-Remove elbow from old valve and install on the new valve ( use teflon pipe tape)
-replace valve, hose & hose clamp, electrical connectors and water supply line.

Check for leaks then replace kick panel, 2 screws.

This is a piece of cake. No tools are actually needed. Grasp one end of the old seal and gently pull it out of the groove in which is fits. Take the new seal, and paying attention to which way around it fits (there is a right and wrong way!) start at either end. Leave an inch or so beyond the groove to rest on the bottom of the dishwa ... Read more sher, and press the seal in place in the groove. You should have an inch or so left at the far end. Go back and go all along the seal and make sure it is pressed evenly and completely into the groove the full length.

You're done.

Use a screwdriver flat blade to pry up one edge of closed lid. Put one side of lid into hinge and snapped other side into place. Very easy.

Use screwdriver to gently wedge the side of the dispenser body apart enough to pop out the old kid, then insert the new kid in it's place.

I ordered the wrong part....needed their help to locate the correct part.
Sent 3 emails asking for help to the 'customer service' email ----NEVER heard a word!!!......and now they want me to rate the installation ?!

Remove bottom kick plate and raise the feet up. Remove attachment from the top to counter. Slide out. Facing the unit, remove left hand side sheet metal cover. The unit is behind this cover. Disconnected the water and power, pulled dishwasher out from under the counter, unscrewed the old inlet valve, disconnected hose from exit of inlet valve, noted the placement of the wires and disconnected them. Installed new inlet valve in reverse order and reinstalled dishwasher.

I have granite countertops and one of the hold down brackets broke to wood cabinet side mount. Easy and fast repair to remove old brackets, pull out dishwasher, and I replaced both brackets with new, and new wood screws. New installation looks better than original done 18 years ago. Dishwasher door won’t stay closed. Upon inspection, the metal striker/catch at the top of the door was broken. This dishwasher is 12 years old and this is the first problem I’ve had with it. The pull out the dishwasher to gain access to the catch. You’ll have to take a small set of pliers and bend the two tabs back that hold the catch in place. Lift the catch up and forward to remove. Replace and bend the tabs back to hold the new catch securely. Move the dishwasher back in place and secure with the screws previously removed. Put the cover plate back in place and you’re done.
