Removed the wires that I could, then terminal block. Installing the new terminal block was very easy; however the wires that arced were fused to the terminal bock screws and needed to be cut and new connectors had to be put on the wires to allow them to be reattached to the block safely.

The length of the repair was increased because of the melted parts and having to run to the store to get the new wire connectors big enough to fit on the wires. If we were simply replacing the block and had not encountered the melted ends, it would have been a very quick and easy repair.

removed the screws holding the front part of the door and from there worked my way, untill the third glass.
It took a couple hours, my first time,. Overall easy,

on the back side of the wall oven the sensor wire was ziptied tight. we had to totally pull oven out of its wall space, remove back panel, unhook zip tie, feed through sensor hole around insulation, connect and then replace back and return and relevel the oven. I have

Replaced the dual infinite switch behind the panel. The wires were easily matched, even though the switch looked a little different. Works perfectly now.

Removed 2 screws located underneath the front lip of the range top. Lifted range top and supported. Removed the 2 screws at either end of the support bracket. Read more re to reconnect the wires to the correct terminals on the new element. I did 1 wire at a time so as to not make a mistake at reconnecting the wires. Then replace the support bracket with the 2 screws and lower the range top in place and put back the 2 screws that hold the range top in position. VOILA!! Success. It works. The wife is now happy again:)

my original part arrived and it did not fit. When I called to explain the problem I was told it was the wrong part. The big problem is... Frigidaire calls the receptacle a terminal block kit as well as a terminal block kit which is a totally different part. I tried to explain that to several different folks I spoke to at your company as w ... Read more ell as Frigidaire but I'm not sure if I got that point across. Take a look at part # 530 393 5058 and part # 530 440 9888 and you will see that they both mention terminal block kit. Hopefully the part I am getting from Frigidaire is an OEM part and will fit.

1) First things first. Either turn off the Circuit breaker, or unplug oven.
2) Remove two screws under oven door that holds the glass top.
3) lift up the glass top, prop it with the 18” board, and place blanket between glass top and oven.
4) Remove two screws of the bracket that hold the two burners.
5) use tour phon ... Read more e camera to take pictures of where the colored wires go on the heating element.
6) use needle nose pliers to pinch, and push out the heating element from the bracket.
7) Remove the wires from the heating element, and the three brackets.
8) Place the three brackets onto the new heating element at the same hole location as the were on the old one.
9) Press the new heating element in the main holding bracket.
10) Place the wires on the correct terminals of the heating element. Note: the camera phone pictures work perfect for this.
11) Raise the two burners attached to the bracket up, and attach the two screws holding this bracket back up under the glass top.
12) Remove the blanket, board, and lower the glass top into place.
13) Open the oven door, and place the two screws back into place that is holding the glass top.
14) Turn the power back on and test.

Note: Other things to consider is you want to have the help of a helper while doing this procedure. The more hands you have holding things the better. There are YouTube videos on installing oven heating elements.

Watching the video showed an easy, unscrew and screw back on process while connecting the wires back. It was really that simple. Once it was complete (not even 10mins), plugged it back in, and its been working great since.

I actually watched Youtube while I was changing it. This video was not actually the same make up of my oven, even though the I typed in the model number. I manage to figure it any with the steps anyway. It was harder then I expected but not horrible. I think I did pretty well for a women. Patti

Took 3 panels off to get to the electric block. Replaced electrical block and put it back together. Still no change.

open door,throw the door latches at the hinges and remove door. Take the out of the outer panel so you can separate the glasses. remove clip that hold the outer glass in place. I ordered a replacement glass as I never thought that it would come clean it looked so bad, but it cleaned up like new so I now have a spare glass for my oven door ... Read more . Just reverse the way you take it apart to put it back together.

Lay gasket across opening after you have cleaned out the crumbs and old gasket. with your left hand spread the opening and gently push the new gasket in, make sure the edges go down and under the cooktop and the panel where the knobs sit. It should be smooth and slant towards the cooktop.

removed the door from the range. removed the 4 layers of glass and carefully set aside the unbroken ones. the 3rd and 4th glasses were held together with a metal frame which had to be dismantled. The old broken glass was rusted and hard to get out of the frame. It had to be cleaned thoroughly of broken glass and rust. the removal process ... Took door apart, went online to partselect, ordered new glass, and put it back together. Oven looks like new. Makes sense to order the isolation as well when you do the repair

Removed oven door. Removed screws from bottom of door as well as handle screws. Remove inner panel to expose glass. Replaced glass panel and reverse steps. Very easy.
