This is an authentic Ariens replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with tillers. The metal dust cap fits over the tine axle where it exits the gear case and is used to prevent dust and is used to prevent debris from entering the gear case. This dust cap is available as an individual replacement part, a hex key and socket wrench are needed to install the cap.
