This is a genuine Abu Garcia replacement part for ambassadeur reels. This metal anti-reverse dog sits on the brake pate, inside the right hand plate, and engages the anti-reverse function when a fish lands. This anti-reverse dog is sold individually, please see model diagram for additional parts.

The 51765 Line Pawl is one part of the mechanism on the reel that guides the line back on to the spool. Its purpose is to keep the line from tangling on the spool. It insures that a flat and smooth spool of line will be ready for your next cast.
