just followed the video directions, worked perfectly thanks

removed screws that held the door face to gain access to catch replaced catch reassembled door tried dryer works great!

I replaced the male end first hoping that a change in the female part would not be needed. Unfortunately no. I used needle nosed pliers to pry the male part out and pushed the new part in. Popped out the old door catch kit and replaced it with the new one! Easy!!

All I had to do was get the model number off of the dryer and plug that information in online and within a couple of days the part arrived. It was great! There were directions that came with the part that explained how to replace the old latch with the new one.

The door catch kit is soo easy. They give you instructions on which one to use depending on your dryer and it fit perfectly into the door. This was great especially since it was so inexpensive! My husband thought we would have to replace the door.

Simply installed the piece and I was done. Took 10 seconds.

The real story here is that there was an ANSWER and a SOLUTION, to what was a GREAT

I ordered the door catch kit on a Wednesday at it arrived Saturday AM. It took less than 1 minute to pry out the old catch with a flat screwdriver and pop in the new one!

Removed old catch and strike with screwdriver and needle nose pliers. Installed new parts. My old catch did not have comparible numbers so I just used the yellow one. Worked fine.

The repair was simple as you can imagine. Thought I could buy these legs at any big box store or at least at the local hardware store. No such luck. Partselect had the right product---easy to order and easy to install. Things around here are great.

I removed the plastic latch using a screw driver to pry it out. I had to use pliers to completely remove it. Then I snapped the new piece in. It worked perfectly the first time. Very easy repair.

Reviewed the video showing how to remove the bad-order part and install the new part. No problem. Installing the new part was exactly what was shown in the video on the web page.

When I ordered the part, I viewed the installation video. That was a key step for me. It told me how to identify the correct part (there are multiple latch pieces in the repair kit, and one of them matches the type of door for the dryer), and how to disassemble the door to get the part installed.
