Replace filter

Ordered the leveling bolts, very fast shipping, parts correct as shown. Purchased a condo by the shore, frige had no levelers, they went in smoothly & was done in no time.

Unplug and pull range away from wall.
Remove metal panel from back of range by using nutdriver to remove 4 screws.
Use phillips scewdriver to remove 2 screws holding old spark module.
Unplug 4 wires from spark module and note placement of wires for reinstall.
Install new module by reversing procedure.

Entire process took less than 30 minutes.

NOTE: Spark Module received from partselect.com did not match old part exactly. The screw holes on the new part did not line up with screw holes from old part. I reinstalled new part with just 1 screw. Was told by partselect customer service that the part I received had been substituted and would work fine. It does work but it did not fit correctly.

I first bought an oven thermometer to check temperatures at different levels. Temperature was about 10 or more degree off. I next looked at the manual and found you can make an adjustment to the temperature knob. This didn't make a difference. Decided I would replace the bottom heating element. The hardest part was loosening up the screws on the bracket for the old element. Thus the use of the vice grip came in handy. My oven is 20 years old!!! I'm sure I saved my husband a couple hundred bucks worth the repair guy.

My thanks to "Part Select" for making the process so easy to order and get a replacement. The repair guy finally called yesterday. Five days after I repaired the oven myself.

Replacing the side grill burners was easy--lift off the grill covers and pull out the grill burners. Next, attach the new front and rear burners to the burner plate with 2 screws (the older version uses 4 screws) using a nutdriver. Place the 2 burner unit (now joined) into the 2 gas inlets (no screws necessary--just slip them over the tub ... Read more es). Insert the grill pan over the burners and place the 2 burner grates over each burner. Done!

This was obviously not a hard repair, I just replaced the knob. I would like to say that I did receive the part in just a little over 24 hours. That was nice!

lift out old filter, wash, put in new filter.

Remove Vent Cover, Remove Old Filter, Replace With New Filter, Replace Vent Cover, Repair Complete

Nothing really. Only couple of screws to attach the bracket holding the front and back burners.
The other parts: filter, burner, pan, where just replaced.

Removed old filter and replaced with new.

EXTREMELY simple - drop in. AND- the part cost less than half the price quoted by appliance vendor...2 years earlier !!! This site is a marvelous resource for parts one can install with minimal skill.

lifted the top center panel off removed old filter installed new easy peesy

Remove old filter- put in new filter. EASY!!!!!!!!

I tilted the unit back enough to scew the new legs into the threaded holes.
