I removed the cap from the filter pushed a lever and removed fliter. I replaced the old filter, removed the caps on the new one and slid it into channel after replacing the outer cap. I removed water from the spigot for 4 mins. and it was ready to go. I pushed the reset button to get the green light to come on.

1/4 turn of old filter. it popped out. Inserted new filter, 1/4 turn and it clicked in. Piece of cake. I'm a freakin' genius.

Hand loosened old filter and threaded in new one. Didn't even have to shut off the water. The new filter, which was delivered promptly, fit perfectly and didn't require any tools. I wish that all jobs were this easy!

thermostat failed & all items in refrigerator froze

Filter full of water was frozen. I moved the refrigerator out, unplugged it & allowed all items to thaw. Water shot out of filter where it was broken. I ordered new filter & called a repairman to replace the thermostat. Once new thermostat installed, I placed the new filter in the refrigerator. All is working fine now.

All work was done by hand. I removed the cover plate, unscrewed the existing water filter and screwed in the new one. I returned the cover plate to its original position and bled the air out of the line by running the water dispenser for a few minutes. It could no have been easier.

Located the filter, removed the filter, installed the new one, reset the filter light on the front of the water discharge, and all is good.
