First I turned off power to the range at the fuse box (very important-The last time I didn't do this and ended up paying a repairman $150.00 to replace the damaged connectors). Read more ment, pushed the element back in and replaced the screws. Turned the power back on and tested the element. The whole job took about 30 minutes because I had trouble disconnecting the old element. I used the flat end of the scrapper to push against the connector while I pulled the element out. Normally it would take only about 15 minutes.

My husband has moved out of state for his job. I am left here with the children until the house sells. This is the first time I have ever had to do any oven repair. Removed 2 phillips screws, unplugged 2 wires, threw away old element. Installation of the new element was just as easy but in reverse order. Piece of cake!

Removed two screws from back of oven ,pulled apart old coil from wires, inserted new coil into the small metal pieces, pushed back and screws replaced. Really easy , anyone can do. Oh, I am 70 years old so probably people younger could do more quickly.

I had to pull out the oven and balance the oven on two patio tables. Remove the back of the oven. Pull out the light assembly which was burnt. I was unable to remove the casing around the light, so I destroyed it with a pliers. Reinstalling the new light and assembly was easy. I Unscrewed the attachment plates located at the back of the over. Pulled the element out so that I could "unhook" the prongs. Replaced the new element by clipping on the prong attachement (you will see where the electrical wires are). Screwed the plates back on and Vola! I'm baking again.

Removed burner and then burner pan.Then replaced pan and reinstalled burner.

Then, I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. They are on the top of the flange and partially concealed by the convection element that juts out.

I pulled out the heating element, disconnected the electrical leads, and installed the new one.

I attempted to put the screws back in, but they were a little tough to line up. I decided to leave them out, knowing that I will probably be doing this repair again in a couple of years.

Hopefully, next time it won't be the day before Thanksgiving.

My husband removed the screws holding the damaged element and removed it before the new one arrived. When we received the replacement part, it took only about 10 minutes for him to repair the oven, inserting the new element.

Ordered and received the terminal block. Installed it along with a new 220V power cord and the appropriate insulator . Ensured the terminals were tight with a nut driver. Reinstalled cover. i read the installation instructions and followed them. first i made sure that each heating element was off. next i carefully removed each one (a total of 4) from it's plug and lifted the worn out drip-bowl up and replaced it with the new one. finally i pluged in (a total of 4) heating elements and turned them on to make sure them were wo ... Removed old element, pluged in new element.

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires.

Rehooked up wires on new element, Slid the element in place. Replaced the two screws. Done, very easy.

Turned off power circuit to oven. Removed old element by unscrewing two nuts attaching unit to back of oven. Used pliers to help release electrical connections at both ends of element. Re-attached connections to new unit. Screwed nuts back into place. Turned power back on and cooked dinner. Total time for repair was less than 5 minutes.
