51316 (ATI1SER) LG Refrigerator - Instructions

This site was awesome! I was able to very quickly look up my refrigerator model, find the proper part number, and order the part. The only suggestion I would make is to update the cut sheet with a more clear version, it was a little difficult to make out the part number because the scan/drawing was fuzzy, but I was still able to make it ... Read more out. Got the part in the mail very quickly and it was super easy to remove the old rail and install the new one. Take out the screws from the old one, remove the old rail, line up the holes, install the new one, and put back the screws. It's so nice to have a site like this to fine parts and order them! Too cool! Thank you so much!

I actually watched a YouTube video for LG refrigerators. The hardest part was taking the wire harness out. Mine was really stuck in there. But got it, put the new switch in and viola it worked. Yay!

Very easy to replace right and left rail 3 screws on each side

Took off door per normal instructions.
Removed the old stopper and hinge assembly (the hard rubbery parts had worn enough against each other to cause the annoying sound when opening and closing the door).
Inserted the new stopper and hinge assembly.
There was no locking nut on the newer part, so just had to level the fridge ... Read more door without that part of the instructions (from normal LG instructions)
Overall easy for a non-handy person and the annoying sound is gone.
Wife is happier now.

Removed old part very easily and installed the new part without any problems. Used and adjustable wrench and screwdriver

Removed ice dispenser and display with small screwdriver from front of the fridge. Pried out the whole piece slowly. This exposed the motor that activates the chute. Plugged in the new motor before any removal to verify the motor was the problem. When it worked, removed old and installed new. 3 screws. Piece of cake.

Just unscrew screws from old rails (still in refridgerator ), and screw them into new rails. We tried to order these parts from another online part site and we got the wrong parts. Partselect.com had drawing of our fridge and it was very easy to navigate through the web site. Thank you!

removed old lever ( 2 screws ) took apart electrical connection, replaced lever, connected electrical hookup, put in screws. DONE !!!!!!

Removed shelf that rails were mounted to. Used a std phillips screwdriver to loosen screws attaching the rails, three per side. Removed damaged rails, lined up new rails and tightened screws. Returned shelf to refrigerator and inserted tray on the new rails.

Simply removed the drawer, then removed the shelf above which held the guides, removed the guides ( 3 screws per side )and replaced them.

unfortunately my fridge stopped working. I purchased another but wanted to try and repair the old one. when ew one arrived, the old one was supposed to be put in garage but instead was hauled away. Had delivery return next day but they had as already removed and lost the handle screw for the bottom freezer and the screw that holds handle ... Read more in place. ordered the handle screw and picked up the nut. very simple to install the screw and put handle back on.
