It was very easy to remove the broken parts of the freezer door handle still secured by screws and then attach the new handle. Read more e was still intact, though is yellowed with age, so was able to snap that in place on the new partial-handle replacement which you sent. It seems to me that to omit this portion as part of the complete handle replacement didn't make much sense, as it rendered the new replacement handle incomplete.

I used a small screwdriver to disconnect wires from old starter. I connected the overload and starter, two wires. I put the unit back in the keeper, plugged the unit in, turned up the thermostat and it's working beautifully.

Like another post, the start relay rattled like a baby rattle. Replaced the start relay and freezer works great.

Simple switch repair: Unplug fridge, pull down to remove switch assembly, slip contacts off. Reverse with replacement switch. HOWEVER, check first to see if the bulb filament might be broken, as this could cause the same symptom. OR in my case, the light socket connection was the culprit. The repair was really easy - I used a phillips head screw driver to remove the screws and broken pieces of the handle, screwed the new one on and snapped the handle insert into place. Opened mailer and bag and place the drain plug into the drain. fit perfectly. In fact it is better than the one lost since the original needed a screwdriver or tool to remove the plug. This one has a flang or finger turner on it so that it can be removed. Also, does not interfere with items in bottom of freezer.

slid one end cap into slot and pulled into place. Put other end cap into cross bar and put other end of cross bar on to other end cap proceeded to put other end cap in to other slot in door and pulled into place. Job complete Job took less than three minutes.

I used a cordless screw driver . And it was done in under 30 seconds . Quick repair

Old handle was off already. Took the to screws from old handle, put the new one on screwed it on and that did it.

Removed the freezer door which had an electrical cord routed through the lower hinge with a disconnect under the freezer. Job works better with two people.
