It was very easy to remove the broken parts of the freezer door handle still secured by screws and then attach the new handle. However, I was shocked to find that the door handle screw cover plate was not included as part of the door handle replacement issued, which I felt was misleading. Read more e was still intact, though is yellowed with age, so was able to snap that in place on the new partial-handle replacement which you sent. It seems to me that to omit this portion as part of the complete handle replacement didn't make much sense, as it rendered the new replacement handle incomplete.

I unplugged electrical cord to the freezer. I removed the cover to the relay and load protector. I labeled the wires and made a diagram on the proper placement of each wire going to the relay. I unplugged each wire and removed the relay. Then I removed the load protector. I installed the new load protector and new relay. I placed the wire ... Read more s on the proper terminals of the relay. I replaced the electrical cover to the relay and load protector. I plugged the electrical cord back in the electrical outlet. My freezer started working again. I placed several bottles of water in the freezer to make sure the freezer was working properly before I restocked it with food.

Simple switch repair: Unplug fridge, pull down to remove switch assembly, slip contacts off. Reverse with replacement switch. HOWEVER, check first to see if the bulb filament might be broken, as this could cause the same symptom. OR in my case, the light socket connection was the culprit. The repair was really easy - I used a phillips head screw driver to remove the screws and broken pieces of the handle, screwed the new one on and snapped the handle insert into place. I was thrilled to be able to find the parts so easily (the information you have online is really helpful!), the parts arrived much faster than I anticipated ... Opened mailer and bag and place the drain plug into the drain. fit perfectly. In fact it is better than the one lost since the original needed a screwdriver or tool to remove the plug. This one has a flang or finger turner on it so that it can be removed. Also, does not interfere with items in bottom of freezer.

slid one end cap into slot and pulled into place. Put other end cap into cross bar and put other end of cross bar on to other end cap proceeded to put other end cap in to other slot in door and pulled into place. Job complete Job took less than three minutes.

Old handle was off already. Took the to screws from old handle, put the new one on screwed it on and that did it.

I used a cordless screw driver . And it was done in under 30 seconds . Quick repair

Removed the freezer door which had an electrical cord routed through the lower hinge with a disconnect under the freezer. Job works better with two people. Could not be easier and I think it took me longer to open the packaging than it did to install. Remove the insert from the face of the old handle and remove the two screws (top & bottom) beneath the insert & discard broken handle (retain original screws). Put original screws through new handle, place in position and drive the screws in. ... Read more Then snap in the insert panel. (My insert was old & brittle and did crack upon removal, but I had anticipated that and ordered a new insert as well.) Took 5 minutes....but I'm pretty handy and it might take someone else 6 minutes.

Ordered the replacement handle and insert. I replaced the handle in about 10 minutes.

Finally after a few years of putting the shelf back on and balancing food on it I looked up the part.
The clips came in a few days.
I used a screwdriver to pop off the old piece. I lined up the clip and pushed it in.!
I am sooo glad I purchased this.
